Ethari and Runaan - two elves

Nicknames

Runaan finally decided to go for it. I mean who doesn't like adourburs. He took a deep breath, 'why was he so nervous it was only Ethari' 

he knocked on the door. Ethari opened it. "oh hi my uncle is busy but if you want I ca-," 

"no, uh no thanks, I don't need anything black smith related," Said Runaan smiling slightly 

"um ok then," said Ethari shifting his postition in the door way "what do you need?"

"I was uh wondering, if maybe when you got any free time, if you perhaps wanted to come to the adourbur fields.....with me?" Runaan felt his cheeks growing warm "But its absolutly fine if you don't want to," he added 

"Sure I'd love to Ru, -Naan , Runaan," Ethari swore internally at him self "I'm free later today if you want to go then?" 

"Yeah thats fine," said Runaan smiling "see you then," 

"See you then," said Ethari 

He waved at Runaan as he left. He closed the door and slid down onto the floor 'Ru' really? he thought to himself.

Ethari walked to Runaan's house, already stressing about what to say 'hey?' 'hi?'. Ethari shook his head clearing his thought. He knocked on the door, a young woman with long hair tied in a bun answered. 

"You must be Ethari," she said smiling 

Ethari nodded 

"Runaan will be down in a minute," she said "would you like to come inside?"

"no thank you," answered Ethari 

The woman smiled and went back into the house leaving the door open. Moments later Runaan appeared, his hair was tied into a loose plait at the top and tied so that the rest was left to hang loose. A small section of hair had been braided and it ran though the plait with the rest of the hair. 

Ethari couldn't help staring he looked amazing. Ethari noticed his mouth was open and shut it quickly hoping Runaan didn't notice. He did notice and blushed looking away for a second 

"Hope you weren't waiting to long," he said breaking the silence 

"n-no not long," he smiled shyly "Ready to go?" 

They walked together  an for the first time since they'd know each other both of them didn't know what to say 

Ethari broke the silence this time "so how's assasin training going?" he asked 

"Oh good yeah, tireing though, especially team games, my faviourite is when we just do target practice, i'm good at that," 

"sounds fun," replied Ethari

"How's training with your uncle going?" asked Runaan 

"eh alright I'm getting better and I think he's started to take me more seriously now which is nice he is even letting me have my own customers is its not a big project,"

"That's so cool!" said Runaan genuinly happy for him 

"Yeah it is,"

they contiued to talk the rest of the way there like they always did, all the tension and nervousness that had previously felt so promenant dissapeared.

When they reached the adourburrs. Ethari practically fainted from the cuteness. Ethari lay down in the grass smiling and laughing as the adourburrs bounced all over him, snugling up against his face and hands. 

Runaan laughed along with him, sitting down in the grass. 

Ethari sat up and carefully removed a few adouraburrs that decided to stick to his hair. They both laughed again 

Runaan held his hand out and five adourburrs jumped onto it. They were so cute 

Ethari watched as Runaan petted the adourburrs, stacking them on top of eachother 

Its had never occured to Ethari that Runaan was the kind of elf to like adourburrs, being an assain and all.

They chatted for what seemed like hours. Talking into the early hours of the morning 

"Hey Thari?" said Runaan, Ethari trying but failing not to blush at the nickname relplied 

"Yeah?"

Runaan took a deep breath, he couldn't believe he was finally going to do it. Finally going to tell him 

"There's something I've been meaning to tell you," Runaan paused not knowing how to frase it.  

"you know you can tell me anything," said Ethari resuringly 

"yeah, Ethari I wanted to tell you this since we first met," 

"you mean when you all most killed me with an arrow," they laughed realeasing some of the tension that had built up 

"yeah," said Runaan moving closer to Ethari "Look," he said as he placed his hands on Ethari's shoulders making Ethari blush 

"I like you Ethari, I really really like you," Ethari froze "i've always liked you but i've never been able to tell you, because I was scared you wouldn't like me back-," 

"I LIKE YOU TOO!" Ethari blurted out, he immidiatly slapped his hands over his mouth. Now it was Runaan's turn to freeze 

"uh I mean I like you too," Ethari said looking back up a Runaan who just stood there shocked 

without hesitation Ethari leaned over and kissed Runaan. Runaan stood there for a minute registering everything before kissing his back 

right so i have this idea that begore this there was anouther scene where they almost shared feelings but Ethari ran off cause some of Runaans training freinds who r kinda mean kinda saw them, then Ethari fet rly bad afterwards
