"Daddy! Look i found a flower to take to mommy!" My five year old son shouted. I squatted down with my arms open as he ran into them. He was showing my the flower and i smile. Those were Skylar's favorite flowers. He must have went to the garden for the pack. He looked a lot like i did when i was his age. That was before i was taken and my hair was turned white.

"You know Archer, mommy loved this kind of flower. They were always her favorites." I told my son. He looked at me with happiness sparkling in his eyes and smiled.

"Really? Looks like mommy is going to love this then." He cheered. I smiled at the boy and ruffled his hair. He then bent down and picked up a rock and held it in the air. It was like he was using the sunlight to study it. Noah always told Archer, Nick and Summer that if you were able to find a rock shaped as a heart then gave it to someone, no matter what they would stay right by your side.

"What do you have there bud?" I asked him as i looked at the rock he was holding up.

"Daddy, does this look like a heart?" He asked. I took the rock from him and sure enough, it looked like a heart. This wasn't the first one he had found too. The other one he decided to put at Skylar's grave. He said it would keep her with the two of us at all times.

"It sure does." I told him. He grinned then handed it to me.

"I want you to have it. Now you'll never leave my side. We'll be together forever daddy!" He cheered. I smiled and held the rock tightly in my hand.

"We're a team Archer. Even if i didn't have this rock, i would never leave your side." I told my son. He smiled and wrapped his small arms around my neck. I hugged my son and glanced up at the sky as though i could see Skylar. I hope i was doing this correctly and that she was proud of me and how our son was turning out.

"How about we go visit mommy. Then afterwards we can go do whatever you want." I told him. My son cheered and began running off to head to Skylar's grave.

"Sky, i hope i'm making you proud." I whispered as i looked up at the sky again. I then began walking after my son, quickly catching up and grabbing his hand to hold. He looked up and grinned at me before pulling me along. We sat down and he began talking to Skylar about anything and everything. He told her about things Noah has told him. Some things he did with Nick and Summer. He talked about it all. He even mentioned how he wished he could have met her in person. After we got done we went back to the castle.

"Daddy, mommy wanted me to tell you she's proud of you. She also said she loves and misses you so much." Archer said. I looked down at him with a raised brow at his words. Was it actually possible that those stories my grandmother used to tell me are true?

"She said that buddy?" I asked my son. He grinned and nodded his head quickly.

"She told me herself. You were right daddy. Mommy is really pretty." He said. I smiled and nodded at him. Maybe he just found a picture of Skylar while he was playing in my room. Nick and Summer ran out and stole Archer while Noah approached me.

"She would be proud Andrew. He's happy and has friends. That would be enough to make anyone proud." Noah said. I nodded as i watched the three play together.

"Archer seems pretty confident that she'd be proud." I said. Noah lokked at me and i shrugged. I wasn't sure how he would know something like that. It made many questions rise in my head. Yet i wouldn't ask too many of them. All that mattered to me was making sure Archer had a good childhood and that he was happy.

"Daddy! I hurt my knee!" Archer cried as he ran over. His knee was already healing but he had tears running down his face. I squatted down once again and wiped his tears away before kissing his knee.

"There you go. All better now." I told him. He looked down and smiled before wrapping his small arms around me.

"Thank you daddy." He grinned. With that he ran off to go resume his game with Nick and Summer. I smiled and stood back up so i was next to Noah.

"It's weird to know that in four months it'll be six years since she's been gone." Noah mumbled. I frowned but nodded.

"I found out the reason why her body wasn't strong enough for her to survive the pregnancy." I said.

"It should have been strong enough. She had wolf blood in her." Noah said. I nodded my head and crossed my arms.

"Remember when my grandmother tried to kill her with her own sword? During the emergancy labor, something reopened from that injury. No one knows how but it happened and they didn't have enough time to save her after Archer was born. If they would have had time then i'd have both my mate and son. But i wouldn't change what i have now. One is better than neither of them being here." I rambled. Noah patted my back and smiled.

"I miss her too Andrew." Was all he said. I frowned but nodded my head before turning my gaze back to the three kids that were running around. They had big grins on their faces as Archer and Nick chased Summer around with worms in their hands.

"It would be great if one of those two ended up being Summer's mate." Noah said. I snorted and shook my head.

"It would be pure chaos and you know it." I told him.

"Hey, as long as it kept things interesting, i don't care." He laughed. I laughed as well but deep down i had a feeling they were all mated to different people. I already knew that Archer would be an amazing mate as long as he opened up when he got older.
