Chapter~16

Sonya and Roman pulled away from each other. Roman was  blushing crazy  and Sonya looked shocked.

"Uhh,sorry for interupting," Becky started. "But Roman and I kind of have a project to work on."

Sonya cleared her throat before standing up. "Uhm yeah sure. I should get going too. Bye Roman."
Sonya whispered the last part.

Sonya walked out and Roman and Becky looked at each other. The atmosphere was awkward. But to be honest, of course it was. Becky saw her science partner making out with the new girl.

Becky decided to clear the awkward air and fixed her glasses."You know Sonya?"

Roman cleared his throat in discomfort, clearly embarrassed."Yeah, she's a-"
Roman paused before continuing. "She's a friend."

"Oh," Becky awkwardly smiled. "Okay."

"We should just carry on with the, uh, project." Roman said grabbing a textbook.

"Yeah." Becky agreed.

By half past five,Becky decided that she should leave. Roman offered to take her home with his car. Becky politely agreed. Once Roman dropped Becky off,she went inside her house to see her mother preparing dinner.

"Hey ma." Becky greeted and kissed her mother on the cheek.

"Hey love," Linda smiled. "How was school?"

"It was good thanks." Becky smiled back.

"And who is your partner for the,what did you say subject?" Linda asked.

"The science project, and it's Roman. He's in my science class."

Linda looked surprised.

"So it's a guy?" Linda and Becky turned their heads to Mark, who stepped into the kitchen.

"Yes dad," Becky nervously answered.

Mark never was cool with anything that involved males with Becky. He believed that she should get a boyfriend when he's dead. And only God knows when that day will come. So long story short, he is very protective of Becky.

"Okay." Mark said calmly.

"Uh,I'm just gonna go upstairs now." Bevky said walking upstairs.

"Okay sweetie, I'll call you when dinner is ready."

Becky nodded before continuing to walk up stairs. Once she reached her bedroom, she put her backpack by her closet and sat down in her desk and decided to draw.

While she was drawing,she heard her phone ding. Which meant she was receiving a notification. She picked up her phone.
