Chapter~25

"What do you want me to do for you?"

"You're in charge of the school's newspaper right?"

Bayley nodded slowly,not knowing where this conversation was going.

"Well I have a very interesting story for you."Renee said,not hiding her smirk.

Bayley crossed her arms suspiciously and looked at the three girls. She kept quiet, waiting for Renee to continue.

Renee held her hand out to Zelina,who was secretly carrying the camera and Zelina put the camera onto Renee's hand.

Renee tossed the camera to Bayley,who caught it with one hand and turned around,walking to the door before stopping.

"You know what to do."

And with that,Renee and the girls walked out.

Bayley looked at the door bluntly. "Actually,I don't know what to do."

Back at the park,Becky and Dean were having a full-on converstaion. Cearly,enjoying each other's company.

Becky's stomach suddenly growled,not loudly though and she covered it with her hands in embarassed.

"You're hungry?" Becky nodded at Dean's question.

Dean smiled and said to Becky,"Well, there's a cafe not far from here that we can go to if you're cool with it."

Becky smiled gratefully at Dean,"I don't have any money on me though."

Dean waved his hand playfully,"That's okay,I'll pay."

"Thank you." Becky said immediately.

Dean unexpectedly grabbed Becky's hand ,pulling her up,"Then let's go!"

Becky looked at their hands which were joined together and blushed. Following Dean. They walked for some minutes before reaching the cafe that Dean was talking about.

"What do you want to order? I'll go order while look for a place to sit."

Becky told Dean what she wanted to order.She then looked for a table good for the both of them. Once she found it,she went over and sat down.After a few seconds Dean came and sat with her. They spoke and finally,their orders came.

They enjoyed their food and drink.Becky wouldn't stop thanking Dean for bringing her to the cafe and for offering to pay. Dean continued to wave his hand,signalling that there was no need to thank him.

Becky was having a good time. Out of her comfort zone. She was smiling and very comfortable with Dean.

However, something was up.

Whenever Dean would talk to Becky or even just smile at her,she could feel her heart fluttering. It was weird. She had nveber felt this way before so it was scaring her.

Dean, on the other hand, somehow completely forgot about Renee. He had been thinking about Becky a lot even though they barely knew each other. In times when he was just spacing out,his mind would suddenly drift to Becky.

She was cute. He had admitted that more times than he would like but it was true according to him. She was nice and kind. That's what it showed to him.

Was he catching feelings?

Pfft. No!

Was she catching feelings?

Of course not!

At least that's what they told themselves.

While they were chatting about,someone familiar approached their table.

"Dean?"
"Lacey?"
