Chapter~24

"Wait. Why do you need us? You don't need two other people to do this."

Renee looked at Zelina and thought for a moment.

"I wanted some company,"

Zelina's eyes softened for a moment,realising that Renee was on her own most of the time because her parents were always out.

"Aww," Sasha awed.

"And also people to put the blame on if we get caught." Renee finished.

Zelina and Sasha simultaneously rolled their eyes at Renee before taking her backpack that was on the ground the whole time.

Zelina opened the backpack,taking out a camera and handed it to Sasha before closing it.

"Okay Sasha,you know what to do, right?"

Sasha nodded at Renee before walking towards Becky and Dean slowly and once she had a good angle,she quickly snapped a picture of them and ran towards Zelina and Renee.

Renee took the camera from Sasha's hands and looked at the picture which Sasha took and took a good look at it for some seconds before looking at Sasha.

"You're great at taking Instagram photos with your phone but you can't take just one picture with this camera?!"

Sasha folded her arms and scoffed defensively,"I don't know how to use a camera like that! This could have been much easier if you let me take the photo with my phone."

Zelina rolled her eyes at the two before snatching the camera from Renee's hands,"If you guys won't stop bickering, then I'll take the photo."

Zelina slowly walked over to Becky and Dean and carefully snapped a picture. Once she was satisfied,she walked back to where Sasha and Renee were and gave Renee the camera.

Renee looked at the camera and smiled. "Yes! Finally! This looks awesome."

Zelina flipped her hair proudly and Sasha rolled her eyes in annoyance.

"Now that we're done here,we're gonna go the girl who's in charge of the newspaper."

"Who's that?" Sasha asked.

Renee shrugged,"But I know where she lives so we're gonna head straight to her house."

Zelina and Sasha nodded. Renee motioned for them to follow her as they went to her car.

"Wait,"Sasha said,stopping the two from entering Renee's car,"Can we get ice-cream on the way?"

Renee rolled her eyes and asnwered,"No,now get into the car."

Sasha huffed and got into the car as she was told. Renee started the car and drove to where the said girl lived. After a few minutes of driving,they finally arrived at the girl's house.

It was a small,cute house which had a small backyard at the back. Renee and the girls got out of the car and walked over to the door and rang the doorbell.

They waited for a few seconds before a woman in her forty's opened the door with a wide smile.

Renee faked a smile before speaking to the woman,"Hello."

The woman,whose name was Veronica spoke back,"Hello! Hi! You must be Bayley's friends right?"

The three girls look at each other before nodding simultaneously. Veronica opened the door wider for them to enter the house.

"Her room is on the second door you see upstairs,to the right. Okay? And if you girls need anything,I'm right here."

The girls smiled and nodded at Veronica before going upstairs up to Bayley's room. Renee knocked on her door and heard a small "Come in" from the inside and opened the door.

Bayley looked up from her computer and saw the three girls enter and quickly stood up.

"Renee? Sasha? Zelina? W-What are you guys doing here?"

"Don't be excited Bajie,we're not here to hang out with you."

Bayley rolled her eyes at Renee's words and answered,"First of all, my name is Bayley. And second,I didn't mention anything about hanging out with you guys."

Renee crossed her arms. Zelina and Sasha looked at each other and smiled in amusement.

"Whatever,we need you to do something for us."
