"Long time no see Shika." I smiled.
"Hey, since when can you run off for that long and come back the Uzukage without visiting?!" His grasp on me became tighter.
"Shika.." I said.
I turned around to face the Nara, and found him crying.
I quickly hugged him back, letting my own tears fall.
"I'm sorry." I mumbled.
We sat there for a while, my supplies to practice seal making long forgotten.
When I heard a soft snoring sound from the Nara, whose grasp on my lightened up a little.
"I love you" I whispered, planting a kiss on his forehead.
I started playing with his hair, and then remembered my supplies know behind me,
I reached for it, careful not to wake the sleeping Nara. I pratcied as he sept.

"I told you!" I whisper shouted to my teammate behind me.
"So that's why Shikamaru spent all his time searching, and why he always wanted to leave training when we were younger." Choji said, now beside me.
I heard his chip bag crinkle as he ate some.
"Your gonna wake him up." I said.
"We should leave them alone anyways." Choji retorted.
Choji walked off, and I soon followed.
"S-so what going on?" Hinata asked, a few other were waiting to hear what was going on between Naruto and Shikamaru.
Well, by a few others I mean almost all of our friends.
"Yeah come on tell us!" Kiba exclaimed.
"They're dating!" I nearly shouted.
"I knew it!" Kiba jumped up from here he was sitting.
"his makes much sense." Shino muttered.
"We should confront them!" I said, getting caught up in the moment.
"N-No. They'll tell us when their ready." Hinata piped up.
"Lady Hinata's right, they can tell us on their own time. For now we should act as if we know nothing." Neji spoke.
