I WALK UP TO ROB'S CHILDHOOD HOME. I ring the doorbell with a bottle of chardonnay in my hands. The door opens and I'm shocked to see the person who answered was Astrid.
"Oh hi" I say
"Hi" She says back awkwardly.
We stand there for a bit until Rob's mom Clare passes by the door and welcomes me inside the house. I walk in and she leads me towards the kitchen where the rest of the family is seated. Rob stands up awkwardly once he sees me. He walks towards me and hugs me. I see Victoria and Lizzy and It feels incredibly awkward. We all take a seat and Clare places the food on the dining table. We begin eating as Clare and Robs dad; Richard talk to me.
After eating Rob leads me upstairs to his bedroom and he starts kissing me. As much as I want to kiss him back I need to know why she was here.
"Wait, Rob. Why was Astrid here?"
"She's Lizzy's friend" He continues kissing my neck.
"Stop Rob"
"Julia, don't worry about her, she means nothing to me"
"Okay"
"I love you Jules"
"I love you too"

I'M ON MY WAY TO A DINER so I could meet up with my father. I push the glass door and I see him wave at me with a smile on his face. I'm scared. I refused to talk to him on a phone for God knows how long and here I am about to have lunch with him. I walk towards the booth he is seated on and I take a seat in front of him.
"Juliet" He says
"People call me Julia now"
"Oh"
"Yeah, there's a lot of things that have changed about me"
"Look Julia, I'm sorry for not being able to be there as your dad, I wish I could've been-"
"Then why weren't you?"
"Because I felt like I wasn't capable of doing so"
I'm getting angry "Mom didn't feel capable either and yet she did. Also, it has nothing to do with capability, do you think mom felt capable of raising a kid a single mother?"
"Julia-"
"No but she did, she was there"
"I'm sorry"
I stay silent
"Julia you don't have to forgive me, but I just want to be a part of your life"
I hear my mother's voice saying give him a chance I want to say no but if there's one thing I've learned from my mother it's to forgive.
"Okay"
Then we started talking about everything. I told him about my career and my mom and how she is now. He told me that he's starting therapy soon which made me really happy. I hope he can change

CELIA IS GONE and I don't know what to do anymore. I've been crying so much to the point where I feel like I have no more tears left. Rob is holding me. After we cried we both went to a bar and got incredibly drunk.

ME AND ROB WOKE UP COMPLETELY naked.
"Shit" I say
"Fuck, did we?"
"I think we did"
Then we started laughing.
"She's gone Rob" my voice cracks.
Then the tears fall once again.
