Azazel slowly passed me my drink, he was curious about what was going on so he listened attentively. He noticed that Alice was looking a bit edgy about the whole situation. "What did you do this time, Alice." He teased.

Alice scoffed. "M-me? It was all Boris and Sammy! They could've killed us!" She turned to me. "Isn't that right (Y/N)?"

Alice had put me in the spotlight. "I-Uh...They..." I gulped and I started sweating due to nervousness.

Benicio crossed his arms and sat down on a nearby stool. "This will be interesting. Bartender, bring me some moonshine. I'm gonna need it soon." He mumbled as he rubbed his forehead.

Azazel nodded and went back to work. All eyes quickly turned from Azazel to me.

"Well?" The mafia boss furrowed his brows.

I looked around the bar then sighed. "You already found out anyways--The mission didn't go so smoothly because of those two's bickering." I pointed to Boris and Sammy who looked offended. I winced when I saw that Boris had given me a death glare and mouthed "I'm gonna KILL you."

Sammy quickly stood up. "That isn't remotely true! I had the vehicle all under control until he," He shoved an accusing finger on Boris. "started acting up and caused me to lose control!" Sammy protested. Boris growled and slapped Sammy's finger off his chest. Sammy flinched but continued, "If anyone's to blame, it's Boris." He concluded.

"Oh please!" Boris turned over to Benicio. "Don't believe a thing the palooka says." Benicio raised a brow.

Sammy gasped. "PARDON ME?" Their arguing continued and Benicio didn't even attempt to stop it. He looked entertained.

Azazel came back in the middle of their bickering with Benicio's drink and handed it to him then came over to me. He rested his elbows on the bar counter before leaning over. "So, what did I miss?"

"You're lucky the police aren't on our track." Benicio sighed. "And you're sure they didn't see ANY of you, right?"

"Absolutely." Alice confirmed but then but her lip. Benicio hummed, he wasn't satisfied with her response. "They didn't!" She assured.

Benicio rolled his eyes at her and then turned to face me. "I'm terribly sorry about the trouble these three have caused you."

I was a bit surprised he even cared considering everything he'd done to me. "O-oh it's fine, we all got out alive and safe anyways."

"Pfft- barely." Sammy muttered with a bored expression on his face. Benicio hit his head to make him shut up. "Ow!" He looked up.

Benicio stood up. "Can we talk in private, (Y/N)?"

I blinked in confusion. "Sure." I shrugged and followed him to his office. The mob stared at us as we left.

We reached his office and sat down across from each other. "I just want to make sure you're okay...and that you don't have to work for the mafia anymore. I can replace your old job with a better one. I know Azazel can be a pain." He awkwardly chuckled then immediately cleared his throat.

I half-listened as Benicio continued to talk. I started to slowly drift away from the conversation with thoughts bubbling all around me and I would deceive him with simple noises of affirmation as he spoke which was mostly about work and the mafia. I completely blanked from conversation as I thought about what I had left behind at home. Friends, family. I wonder what they would think of me now. Working for a demon even though it was totally be accident. But I couldn't just abandon them either. I became more and more frustrated as I thought about it.

"What do you say?"

I blinked. Benicio was looking at me expectantly. "Oh, yes! Certainly." I quickly replied when I realized he'd asked a question.

"Are you sure? I mean I would understand why you wouldn't want to" He asked.

"Absolutely!" I did my best to smile though my eye twitched.

Benicio grinned and stood up from his seat. "Great! Then I'll call in some reservations."

Oh stars, what had I just agreed to? I didn't lose my forced smile even as panic fluttered in my chest.

He smiled sympathetically. "Don't worry. We'll take the private business dinner easy. Nothing too fancy per say but I'll make sure the group doesn't bother us." He grinned. Private dinner? So basically a date? I had agreed to a date? When had the topic switched to a date? His brows furrowed. "It'll just be for business, I promise. And also to make up for all the nonsense those mooks dragged you into."

My smile fell into something more genuine. What would it hurt?

"So, tomorrow at seven?" Benicio asked.

I tried to cover my blushing cheeks behind my hands as I spoke. "Yep! I'll look forward to it."

Benicio smiled a bit. "Good, you better get going then. I'm sure you're tired from tonight." My yawn confirmed it.

"Good night then." I smiled as he lead me to the door and held it open for me.

"A date!?" Alice exclaimed. She almost fell out of her chair from the shock. We were in her room this time. It was a much nicer, spacious room. "I didn't know he did that."

I shushed her, hoping nobody heard us. "Technically, it's not a date. It's a very professional private business dinner." I huffed.

Alice snorted, "Okay, okay. At least let me help you pick out a fancy dress. No offense, but your style stinks." She commented.

"Wow, thanks." I scoffed looking done at my clothes. "Besides, I won't be needing a fancy dress because it's not a date. Something simple will do." I didn't own a nice dress anyways.

"Well I can't let you go on a "very professional private business dinner" wearing those wide legged trousers and plain white blouse." She shook her head in disapproval. Her faced suddenly brightened. "You know what? I got just the thing!" I lifted a brow as she rushed over to her closet and started rummaging through her clothes. She came back out with a blue floral blouse, a white skirt, a matching blue slouch hat and white oxford shoes. I gazed in awe. "This will look great on you! The blue will really make your (H/C) hair pop!" She chirped as she handed me the clothes.

I quickly came back to my senses. "Oh, I can't take this. It's too nice. What if I ruin it?"

"I have multiple pairs of each item. It's fine." She assured. "I can't wait to see you wear it tomorrow!"

"Me neither." I smiled.
