viii. SHE JUST WANTED TO WATCH HER FAVOURITE CARTOON .

"so basically what your saying is that i need to come with you?"

"was what i said not clear to you?"

a gleam of amusement shone it's way to [name]'s eyes as she watched her mother shove specific things she needed inside her bag while she sat on the couch doing nothing in particular but watch but her eyes occasionally land to the flat screen tv that was playing [name]'s favourite cartoon "you know, i would have thought you were old enough to stop watching those cartoon shows . . .", she paused for a bit, "but it turns out your still the same little girl i know."

"mom, you don't understand! this was my childhood and i basically grew up watching this so basically if i still enjoy watching it even at the age of seventeen then the show is still special to me!"

analyn laughed at what her daughter had said but she couldn't deny that she was right, analyn had always wondered if [name] would be a different person if she didn't enjoy the cartoon she was currently watching as a child. oh if analyn could bring those good times back, she looked at her daughter who was watching the tv with such joy in her eyes

if only [name] was still a child, she would be able to carry her in her arms once again.

"[name], be a dear and change please, i don't want you to go out and meet my friend looking like that.", an offended gasp escaped from the younger "mother how could you say such a thing? i'am utmost offended!", [name] dramatically said causing her mom to laugh at her behavior.

"what should i wear though?", silence passed between the two analyn thinking of clothing that would look good on her while [name] was thinking about clothes that would make her feel in complete comfort but of course she wants to make herself look presentable but it was always her mom that would choose her clothes for her since she can't really make a decision of her own and if she did it wouldn't really go her way either "i have an idea on what you can wear! stay here for a bit", her mom stood up and walked her way upstairs and [name] doing what she was told, she stayed on the couch watching her favourite cartoon.

[name]'s feet were on top of the table while her right arm was in between her legs just frozen in place, her eyes were half lidded indicating that she was tired but the cartoon made it incredibly hard for her to even lay down on the couch and sleep since she was still intrigued by the show like a child watching television for the first time of their life.

"[name], the clothes i prepared for you are in your room!", analyn had came back downstairs looking as if she had been looking for something for years, a hum was heard from [name] who's attention was too focused on the screen she hasn't even picked up her phone the moment her favourite cartoon showed up on the screen which was such a rare sight to see especially if your daughter is a complete phone addict "i'll wear it after i'm done watching the entire series!"
