xix. QUICK JOURNEY .

"and that's all for today, see you tomorrow everyone."

the school bell rang throughout the building as students were thrilled at the sound of dismissal. [name] began to organize her things as her seatmate did the same but was unfortunately surrounded by a crowd of students while he did so. [name] decided to not look at his direction to not catch the attention of other students but she could not help but question herself why he was so calm despite the attention on him.

putting the last item inside her bag, she waited until alistair was finished with what he was doing so that he and his newfound friends can go on their way home. thankfully, alistair finished rather quickly as he calmly but gently grabbed [name]'s arm and pushed the crowd of students as he and [name] got out of room leaving a bunch of students watching their figure disappear with widened eyes as they both exit the classroom.

[name]'s backpack was slung over her shoulders while alistair held his bag without a care in the world, he knew about [name]'s thoughts but he shouldn't be to bothered with crowds surrounding him after all he and his sister were quite used to crowds but unlike him his sister was more awkward when it comes to people surrounding her "alistair, we should meet up with the three!"

to be honest [name] only spoke because she was getting tense and awkward of the silence but she thought that she made it even more awkward when she spoke but alistair nodded his silently as he continued to walk out of the school completely forgetting that he was grabbing hold of [name]'s arm but his friend seemed to forget to making them both not notice the action.

"[name]! alistair!"

the two looked to the direction of the sudden call and then they were met with phil, del, and marshall waiting for them patiently, without a second to spare the duo walked towards their direction until both were now standing in front of the three boys, phil was about to speak when he noticed alistair holding your arm gently causing marshall to clear his throat and del to smugly at the sight.

soon enough alistair and [name] finally realized what was happening and alistair was quick to release his hold on her arm as [name] found an interest at the floor, phil chuckled at their expression as he then proceeded to shake his head with a slight smile on his face. "we were planning to go a nearby convenience store and we couldn't leave without you both and since the two of you are here we can go now!", phil cheered while letting his fingers comb through his hair.

the group began their little journey to the convenience store with marshall and phil talking about their entire day with del and [name] adding a few words to their conversion while alistair stayed silent.

"our classroom was in shambles the moment our teacher left our room but then all of them behaved the moment the door opened which was honestly really funny.", phil laughed as he informed them of what happened in his class as the group listened to him with interest of what he was saying, the brief sounds of birds chirping, and cars and bikes passing by was actually adding to their walk "the surprised expression our teacher had when she entered the room seeing all of us behaving but the floor scattered with papers, notebooks, pencils, and pens!"

after awhile of walking the group finally arrived their destination and they entered inside, though with alistair with them it did earn a few flustered stares that were directed to the boy who held a stoic expression on his face. marshall, del, and phil separated and alistair and [name] decides to stick together as they started browsing for snacks that they can buy, the girl caught sight of [f/chips] causing her eyes to sparkle in joy.

she was quick to grab it and smile at the sight of her favorite chips as she imagined drinking [f/drink] with it when she gets home but then she asked herself if they still had [f/drink] back at home, just in case they didn't have any left [name] decided to buy one - or four - of the drink she had in mind, phil approached her and alistair as the quiet boy behind her stood with a few chips on hand.

"[name], what did you get? i got this drink because me and my brothers are going to play basketball later.", the boy informed as he showed the girl a drink he planned to buy, it was a blue drink but he also had a biscuit in his other hand "i got [f/chip] and i'm planning on buying [f/drink] only if i see one,", phil thought for a moment before he snapped his fingers and nodded his head "i saw a bunch of [f/drink] in that—"

he wasn't able to finish what he was about to say for [name] rushed towards the direction he was pointing to leaving a stunned looking alistair and a shocked phil behind.

"[f/drink], [f/drink], [f/drink]"

she chanted as if it were the only thing she could say, when her eyes landed on the drink she was finding she jumped like a little girl as she took it from where it was displayed upon and rushed to pay for it. after she finished paying she looked behind her confused when she saw her friends looking at her either amused and laughing slightly at her, truthfully they were amused at her actions but they didn't question it they thought it was rather adorable.

[name] waved her friends goodbye as they separated ways, she was already in front of her house the reason why she was still with the four boys is because they decided to escort her back home so that she can return safety, del stated. [name] unlocked her front door with the spare key her mother gave her whenever they were out for work and the moment she entered her home she replaced her shoes with her [f/color] slippers and threw the items she brought on the couch.

she rushed upstairs to her room to change into something more comfortable. she wore an oversized maroon shirt and paired it with a black short, as she finished changing she ran back downstairs, and plopped down on the couch and turned the tv on and began to cut open her [f/food] as her favorite show began to play.
