(Back to the present, finally >:D)

"I can explain-" Dream spoke as he tried to stand up but ended falling down. Positivity had gone down with all the AUs falling to the void.

Ink stood next to Dream, shielding him as he went into a fighting stance. He has no idea how exactly he could fight without broomie, all he could do is defend them for now.

"Simple. You're in my castle. Half of the multiverse is disappearing and its kind of your fault." Nightmare sighed as he sat down carefully, not wanting to bleed out.

Ink didn't trust him. Well, he grew up not to. Still, he tried to make everything make sense in his 10 year old nonexistent brain.

"...I don't understand? I swear Error just forgot everything- and the personality switch thingy liquid." Ink tried to think bacl to everything that happened before he got grounded.

"Most of the multiverse had gone down to the void, thankfully only a few originals fell, but unfortunately almost all the copies were gone." Nightmare sipped his tea, its now cold and half-empty. "And no Dream, you can't help them, you can't waste your remaining energy on them." Nightmare added, glancing at Dream.

Ink was confused. Error didn't do this before at all. Did his prank went too far?

"But I have to! It's my duty!" Dream talked back, he didn't wanna disappoint anyone.

"Dream." Nightmare looked at him with stern eyes.

"I was the one who got fooled by his childish acts. I should've known better." Dream looked down in guilt.

"But isn't Error actually a child? Like, he's younger than me-" Ink blurted out. He was still wary of Nightmare being in the room though.

Dream and Nightmare were quite surprised. Most especially Nightmare.

"Huh, how do you know that?" Nightmare asked as Dream slowly questions everything he knew.

"Uh, just sort of lately?" Ink shrugged. By lately, it was probably the past decade. Their fights weren't as serious as before after they talked.

Now, it was just a silly game of destroyer and creator. No one did their job seriously anyways.
But no one was supposed to know, but oh well, the multiverse is ending, and it can't stay as a secret forever.

"Why didn't you tell me?" Dream looked at Ink, who just shrugged again.

Dream felt betrayed, but he understood that the council probably won't like the idea of Error and Ink being friends.

Still, they needed to do something.
The multiverse is ending and Error is on a spree,

A plan for an attack is what they needed the most.

Timeskip to hours later... with Sci
---

Sci looked at the monitor, a brown guinea pig, under the effects of the reverse potion, was seen.

Sci held the small sample on a vial on his hand, he was sure this was the one.

The guinea pig was called "Subject #210", the fifth one for his sample testing of a cure for the reversal potion.

He fed his sample cure, he waited and waited.....

Nothing happened.

It's a failure, again.

He looked over to his notes again, reviewing Subject #210.

This one liked carrots before, but now liked apples, an entire different thing.

There was a little change in his personality, just a slight thing.

This one also can do a certain trick before, but now suddenly, is unable to do it.

Bzzzz.
Bzzzzz.

Sci picked up his buzzing phone on his table, it was Dream.

"Uh, Sci, did you know that Error can use paint magic now?" Dream chuckled nervously.

Sci dropped the vial, shattering it to the ground. He stared at the screen in disbelief as he realized something.

The call ended as he basically threw his phone as he ran.

"We got it all wrong- It didn't fully reverse Error's personality.... " Sci said as he ran to his desk, frantically scanning over his notes.

"It changed what he could do and what he wanted-" Sci then took his pen, maybe this is the one that would work.

"I got it." Sci happily smiled, bringing the knowledge to his lab, with hopefully, enough time to make it.

Maybe it wasn't much of a failure afterall.
