Kay eyes were glued to his phone as he sat in the gaming chair in his room. He had on a wife heated
and basketball shorts, what time is it?"Kaykay" I groaned, wiping the dry drool from my mouth.
"What?"
He watched me as I continued to stretch and roll on my side.
"Your mother at work. Brooklyn sleeping in Bri's room. We came home late last night and your door was locked so I let you crash here. Your moms dropped Brooklyn off in the morning."
"So where'd you sleep?"
"The floor."
"You didn't have to do that." I said feeling a little bit bad.
"Yeah yeah. We not little kids no more, can't fit on the same bed." He joked.
"How's Dougie?"
"Still in the hospital. Y'all two was kickin it yesterday." He laughed. "Y'all back cool?"
"Ion know about cool. But Dougie forever going to be in my life as much as I try to cut him off. He around me all the time."
Kay smiled and threw a stuffed animal at me. "So you still mad at him or what nigga?"
"Duh I'm still mad. But I'm chillin now." I shrugged.
Dougie and I knew each other for a minute now. He cheated on me and all, but I'll be miserable if I still held onto that anger for the rest of my life. I'm good off him. Everything that went on with him as well.
"We out visiting him later?"
"Ion know I might go to rpt today." I state.
"For who?" He jumped to ask.
I squinted my eyes. "Who else? Dthang. Who else would I go there for?" I eyed him.
He stared at me for a quick second like he didn't believe me, then shrugged. "Nigga ion know. Surprised you ain't make no friends over there yet."
"I wouldn't claim them as friends. Only a handpick of them."
"You need to stay away from them niggas. I'm cool witchu being around Dthang but the rest of the niggas is no bueno"
"Yeah yeah." I mocked him, getting out of bed.
