At eighteen,
Staring at the mirror, just like tomorrow,
She prayed for a future with no sorrow.
With hopes for goals accomplished, and success established.
To be a woman of honour and pride,
Gifted to life, so far and wide.
She sought for fortitude.At eighty,
Staring at the ocean, just like yesterday.
She could see her past, far long gone away.
A young girl with beauty so stunning.
A perfect figure, a future without falling.
She gave gratitude.
