Taiko was running.Running very far."Taiko!"I called.He kept running.Finally,he disappeared into a old run-down building.We stopped in front of it,breathless."This..This is..his house?"I panted."I don't think so."Tadase's eyes were on the door Taiko disappeared into."Should we go inside?"Ran asked.I took a deep breath and headed towards the door shakily.The building was dark and scary.Like a haunted house.I stayed close to Tadase as we walked.We stood in the dark silent,afraid to move."Well?"Miki said."Are we waiting for someone to welcome us and offer us cookies?"Eli said crossing her arms."I knew it.This is a trap."Tadase sighed."What?How can you be so sure?"I said."Because.."he pointed at a corner where a capsule was.Inside the capsule,was Taiko.I gasped."What happened to him?"
"He's not human.."a voice said.We turned around and saw a bearded man in a lab coat and plastic black gloves."Who are you?"I asked."Oh,just the.."the man said."Boss.."Tadase's eyes widened.I looked confused."The boss of Cupid to be precise."the man said and started walking towards us.Tadase stood in front of me as I stepped back."Now.."the boss pressed a red button and the capsule Taiko was in opened letting out a fog.Taiko's eyes opened wide and walked out,towards me.I couldn't move and that's when I realized that I was stuck to the ground.I looked over at Tadase and he was also stuck.
"How-"I stopped as another person emerged from the dark."Y-Yuri?!"
She smirked.""Yuri was enrolled in your school to get information."the boss said."Then Taiko was programmed to lead you into this trap."
"Wait-Programmed?"I said."Taiko is a..."Tadase turned to Taiko."Robot."
"Ok,enough talking."the boss snapped his fingers and Yuri bolted towards us then grabbed Tadase into a hug.He just stood there with wide eyes,gaping."You will become one of us.."Yuri said in a raspy voice,then sharp fangs appeared on her teeth.I struggled trying to move.She bit his neck then let go of him,grinning evilly.
