The next day,I waited by the school gates miserably.I saw Rima and Nagihiko coming together and sighed.There were so many things I had to tell them.Like what happened to..Tadase.I waved at them as they joined me."Ohayo."we said to each other."Where's Hotori-kun?"Nagi asked."Um.."I seemed to have grew an interest on a nearby sign."He's...gone."I murmured.They stared at me silently and I just stood there nervously."What?!"Rima shouted."What do you mean?"Nagi asked."I mean-"I stared behind them in shock."What?"they looked confused then turned around."Ohayo."Tadase said."O-Ohayo,Hotori-kun.."Nagi said puzzled."Whats going on?"Rima whispered."I-I yesterday..he was..bitten then..."I stuttered as he looked at me."Is..there something wrong?"he asked."N-No..just-"I shook my head.Did he manage to escape yesterday?If so,why isn't he saying anything about it?I thought as we walked to class."Tadase-kun,I thought you were..with Yuri..yesterday."I said."I managed to get out."he said taking my hand."Why?Aren't you happy?"he asked."Its just-yesterday you said something about not seeing each other.."I said.He frowned and said,"I..never said that."
"But-"I stopped.Did I just imagine it?
"What happened to Taiko,then?"I said.Tadase shrugged."What are you guys talking about?"Rima asked."Taiko..is a robot."I said.Her eyes widened and then calmed."I knew there was something weird about him."she said.I smiled weakly and looked suspiciously at Tadase.He doesn't see like...Tadase.I shook the thought away as we headed to class.After school,I walked home with Tadase.I realized he never smiled today.His face was..I gasped.Emotionless.I quickly let go of his hand and he looked at me,a little hurt."Tadase-kun..You're not you."I said sternly."What do you mean?"his eyes gleamed with anger.I stepped back."I mean-"I stopped as he pressed me onto a tree.I looked at him,fear rising.His face was scary and he wouldn't use so much pressure on a girl,especially not me."What are you-"I was cut off again."I am being myself."he said quietly.
