Chapter 95

After that,we got up and went home.In the car as I looked out the window,a thought hit me,and my eyes widened.I jumped up and looked around frantically."Whats wrong,Amu-chan?"Tadase asked."I-I..Where did it go?"I felt my pockets and..everywhere."Where'd what go?"Rikka asked."My Lock.I think I left it in the restaurant.."I said sighing."But the restaurant is closed..."Rima said."I know.."I looked out the window again."We'll find it tomorrow ok?"Tadase said touching my shoulder.I nodded.The car pulled up into the driveway and we walked into the house,tired.I walked up to my room and fell onto my bed.It was really late,and I don't think I have ever,stayed awake this late before.It was already 4 pm.We couldn't find the lock and a few days later,I got better.

I walked out of the bath,rubbing the towel on my head."Ah..I'm so tired.."I said as I crawled back into bed in my pajamas."Mm-hmm..."Eli said.The rest of my charas were in their eggs,sleeping.Since we were in France,Eli didn't feel like sleeping in eggs,since "queens" sleep on beds and stuff.She was on her little chara bed on the table,her eyes closed and blankets wrapped around her.

Everyone's lights were off,and the house was completely dark.Everyone was asleep,while I lay awake,tossing and turning.The thing is,I'm worried.What if someone took the Humpty Lock?What if we couldn't find it?What if..Yuri has it??!!

Many negative thoughts filled my mind that I thought I would explode.Finally,I closed my eyes and fell asleep.

The next morning,I sat up on bed and stretched,yawning.I looked around the room,like I didn't know where I was and saw Eli,the chara eggs,my suitcase,a book,the Humpty lock,a magazine,a cup of water-wait Humpty Lock?!I immediately stood up and tossed the blankets to a side and grabbed it.I stared at it for a few seconds and turned it around.It was exactly the way it was last night,and it was still glowing a little purple.A light purple,and you could barely see it in the brightness of the room.I placed the lock on a table and walked into the bathroom and took a nice shower and got dressed.I headed downstairs and saw Sukey already up making breakfast."Ohayo,Amu-chan."Sukey said placing a few plates on the breakfast table."Ohayo."I said back.I slipped on my shoes and opened the door."I'm going out for a walk."I said as Sukey walked into the kitchen."Alright,be careful.And be back soon."she said from the kitchen."Ok!"I headed out the door and breathed in the fresh air.I didn't really know the town well,but I walked anyways.On the way to nowhere,I thought about how the Humpty Lock appeared on the bed table when I was pretty sure I forgot it at the restaurant.Then,Tadase.I was worried.He hesitated.Maybe he wanted to break up with me but was too afraid to hurt my feelings?Or he didn't have any feelings for me anymore.I wasn't sure.Either way,I was still worried.What would happen???

So many things have changed since last year,and 7th grade felt longer then my entire life.Well,Slightly.Tadase,seemed to have changed.He didn't seem like a gentleman anymore,Yaya,haven't changed much but grew an interest in clothes than food.Rima....eh.Nagi....eh.
Rikka,matured.Kind of.And Hikaru..he..seemed to be more cheerful and hanged around Rikka often.
And then there's me.I sorta dropped my cool&spicy character a little and I don't seem to realize when I act that way.

"Hi."
"Ah!"I jumped as Yuri appeared 30 feet away.I took a few steps back as she came closer."Hey,I don't mean any harm.."she said flapping her hands in front of her."You're not our goal anymore."

"What do you mean?"I stood up straighter."I'm just saying.We already gave your Humpty Lock X-energy,and all we have to do is wait."she smirked crossing her arms.
"Wait?Wait for what?"I asked."I'm not going to tell you!"Yuri rolled her eyes.She glanced another direction and looked back to me,glaring."Anyway,I gotta go."she walked away as I stood there watching.
