"You've got to be kidding me Roman, you said you were going to be home in time for Christmas with me and Kai." I said, he sighed over the phone. "Vince needed me over babe, I missed my flight and there was nothing they could do. They can't just turn the plane around for me, do you know how expensive that is. Look I'll be home late tomorrow night, I promise maybe sooner than planned. Tell kai I love him, and I'm sorry baby." He said sadly, I told him I loved him hanging up.
"Mama why are you crying?" Kai asked, I picked him up putting him in my lap. "No reason baby, it's time to put you to sleep baby. Santa won't come if your awake, so let's get my big handsome boy in bed alright." I picked him up taking him to his room, he yawned in my arms. "Mama when is daddy gonna get here, he promised he'd be here before I went ti bed tonight so he could tuck me in." Kai asked in a small voice, my heart broke.
"Kai honey daddy got caught up with work, he won't be here until tomorrow night. He wants you to know he's sorry and he loves you so very much." I explained, Kai nodded in disappointment. He turned over in his bed and I kissed his head, my heart broke to see him so upset. I turned off his light leaving his room.

I went to mine and Roman's bedroom, I took off my satin robe. I was in lingerie hoping Roman was coming home, but tonight was a complete waste. I laid in the bed I decided to call Roman back to spend a little time with him, he answered quickly.
"Hey baby what's up. How's Kai doing?" He asked, I smiled a soft smile. "He's doing fine babe, sleeping now. He's extremely upset, he wanted you to tuck him in tonight for bed. The look of disappointment broke my heart, he's gonna be a wreck tomorrow I just hope I can at least help him have a bit of fun." Roman nodded, I seen him look behind him.
"Look baby I gotta go the connection here is pretty shitty, I'll call you back when I get a chance too okay I love you." The phone disconnected, and I sighed muttering an I love you back.
I fell asleep waiting for his call back that never happened, I felt a dip in the bed I sat up quickly only to hear a chuckle. I looked over to see Roman, my eyes widened.
"Baby oh my god! What are you doing here you said you weren't gonna be home until tomorrow." I hugged him tightly, he buried his head in my neck. "Nothings more important than being with my family on Christmas, and making love to my beautiful wife. I have to say this looks way better in person than through that small ass screen babygirl." He kissed me, traveling his hands down my thighs softly.
