"Oh come on you lazy, old women let's leave." Catra snarled at Shadow weaver.
They were all still with Shadow weaver trying to persuade her to come back to Brightmoon.Well nearly everyone anyway. Entrapta was back at the camp fixing Darcy.
Suddenly, Entrapta rushed through the trees.
"Darcy just received a message." Entrapta panted.
"Who is it?" Perfuma replied.Entrapta shrugged and ran back into the forest, towards the camp.
"Let's go, we need to know whose that message is from." Gimmer said.
They all looked at Shadow weaver.
"Fine, I'll come." She sighed.
"Great." Glimmer cried before running up to Shadow weaver.
"Reckon you could teleport us? I don't feel like walking." Glimmer complained.
Shadow weaver looked embarrassed.
"I don't think I'll be able too, I used to much power at the failsafe." She sighed.
"Can't you like combine your powers again with Glimmer." Mermista interrogated.Shadow weaver shaked her head.
"Why not? I'm up for it." Glimmer asked.
"Last time you allowed me to tap into your runestone connection, I... I wanted to take that power for myself. I only just managed to stop myself. But I'm afraid that I will take the power this time, since you may not be strong enough to defend it from me." Shadow weaver sighed."Well Castaspella could do it, she's strong enough." Bow exclaimed.
"I doubt that." Shadow weaver replied, rolling her hers.
"I am strong enough." She argued.
"Well I wouldn't forgive myself If I hurt you. " Shadow weaver said. "Well, some of you anyway." She added.
"Never thought I'd hear you say that." Castaspella mentioned.
Shadow weaver rolled her eyes for the second time."Come on let's just do it." Castaspella said, clearly excited.
"Fine, but I can't promise that we will end up directly at camp." Shadow weaver sighed. She conquered the same teleporting spell as she did when she helped Glimmer back in the war. Everyone gathered round, preparing themselfs as Shadow weavers hand slipped through the circle in the middle.
Glimmer thought of her mum. Angela. She was happy she wasn't doing it this time. She didn't want to be reminded of last time. Her mums face panic-stricken as she flies up to see her only daughter dissapearing before her eyes. And with Shadow weaver no less. She shook the thoughts out her head and concentrated back on Castaspella.
Castaspella took a deep breath and reached our to grab Shadow weavers hand. Her hand was surprisingly soft yet cool and relaxing. The area glowed a light purple as Castaspella and Shadow weaver started dissapearing, followed by the rest of them.
They re-appeared in a spooky part of the forest, which Adora had seen while searching for Madame Razz so long ago.
"Where are we?" Castaspella gasped, letting go of Shadow weaver's hand.
"Shit. It looks like we didn't quite make it to the camp." Shadow weaver complained, looking around.Suddenly, a loud noise camp from the forest.
"Dont worry I'm sure it's just one of Shadow weaver's pet Nyx's." Catra gulped.
"No it cant be. Nyx's only come out at night. It's morning now." Micah fretted.Everyone looked at Shadow weaver as she nodded her head, agreeing with Micah.
Another loud noise. A growl this time. The branches of the tree's rustled as if someone was coming forward. Everyone backed up, now they were all stood together at the back of this miniture clearing. Well, everyone except Castaspella, who was a couple metres infront of the group.
Before whoever it was could emerge from the trees a shot of magic shot escaped through the trees towards Castaspella. Magic? Who would be in the whispering woods with magic?
Before anyone could react, Shadow weaver jumped infront of Castaspella. The shot hit her square in the chest sending her backwards a couple feet. She sent a quick spell into the woods where the magic came from.
Another shot of magic came through the trees, for some reason only aiming at Castaspella even though Shadow weaver could of been a much easier target. Shadow weaver pushed Castaspella back behind her shooting more of her power into the woods.
She quickly grabbed Castaspella's arm and yanked her towards the group. She focused the rest of her power on the group and teleported them as close as possible to the camp. They dissapeared just as another shot of magic came through the trees. This time the mystery person stepped out of the tree's. They only saw him for a minute but they managed to see that he had smooth back hair and pale green eyes.
His skin was slightly grey like Shadow weaver's but a lot paler, barely grey, more white. He was wearing all black and a hood was covering his head. That's all they saw before tents and fresh grass invaded there vision. They were back at camp! Shadow weaver had actually done it! She had saved them.
Done.
Ik I said I was gonna post this on christmas but I decided not to. This chapter was my longest one yet for this story, 888 words.
I may start taking longer to post but having longer and hopefully better chapters like this one, instead of only having like 300 words.
Anyway I hope everyone had a good Christmas.
Goodbye!
(And sorry for any mistakes.)
