Let me first just say that I absolutely love this song, because it is one of the few songs I've heard about an actual faithful man. Like all the songs now a days are about who you can fuck and getting drunk and stuff and this one is actually about someone that will NOT cheat on the one they love, so kudos to Andy.
Honey I'm Good
By: Andy Grammer
Dean was a bit tipsy, not too much that he didn't know what was going on, but he could definitely feel a buzz in his skull. Lisa was having a party at her house and had invited Dean, and Dean being a man that loved parties eagerly agreed. That was a week ago when Cas said he could go with Dean, but they hadn't planned on Cas getting the flu.
So to not be rude Dean had gone to the party that he'd already RSVP'd for, of course it took many reassurances from Castiel saying he was fine without Dean for a few hours, and maybe Cas had to physically push a worried Dean out the front door, but Dean was actually having a good time.
It's been a long night here and a long night there, and these long long legs are damn near everywhere.
Dean swayed a bit as he walked through the party. He was looking at the digital clock on the wall for who knows how many minutes trying to get his slow ass brain to register the time, until Lisa walked up and laughed at Dean. "Too many drinks Dean?" She asked with a smirk and Dean rolled his eyes. "Shut the fuck up."
Lisa just let out another light laugh and looked at the clock, "It's a quarter past one in the morning." She said knowing what Dean was doing and Dean answered with a nod. "I gotta go home." He mumbled. Lisa put her arm around Dean's waist and kissed his neck, "You don't have to go yet." She purred in his ear and Dean felt his body shiver, it took his brain a few seconds to register but he pulled away quickly when it did.
"You look good, I will not lie. But if you ask me where I'm staying tonight; oh baby, no baby, you got me all wrong baby. My baby's already got all of my love."
Lisa rolled her eyes. "Come on Dean Cas won't even know." She said and held out another plastic red cup for Dean who just shook his head.
"Nah nah honey, I'm good, I could have another but I probably should not. I've got somebody at home and if I stay I might not leave alone."
"That's the point Dean." Lisa sighed and started to follow Dean as he stumbled to the kitchen where he found some coffee and started to make it. He stood by the coffee machine while Lisa kissed more at his neck, but didn't leave any marks. "Come on Dean you know you want to." She purred.
Now better men than me have failed. Drinking from that unholy grail. So what's the big deal if I give in this one time? I still love Cas and I'm still a good man.. I've got him and he's got me. Dean looked down at Lisa. And you've got that ass, but no I've kindly gotta be like,
"Oh baby, no baby, you've got me all wrong baby. My baby's already got all of my love."
Lisa pulled away with a sigh as Dean drank a big mug of coffee, the buzz leaving slowly. Dean put the mug down and walked to the front door, Lisa close on his heels. "Dean come on don't go." Dean opened the front door, turned to Lisa and smiled politely.
"I've got to bid you adieu, to another I will stay true."
"Dean I could make your night and no one has to know."
Dean was starting to get very annoyed by Lisa, can't she take a hint? Dean didn't want to fuck her.
"Oh I'm sure ya will make somebody's night, but oh I assure ya, it sure as hell ain't mine."
And with that Dean walked out to his car and got in, driving home to see Cas. All the while thinking, my baby's already got all of my love.
Dean got home to a still awake Cas who was coughing and Dean got him some medicine and snuggled him on the couch.
"How was the party?" Cas asked in a stuffy sick voice. Dean shrugged his shoulders and kissed Cas' cheek. "Wasn't as fun without you."
