Liar's Notebook (IN PROGRESS)

Prologue

" It is your time to shine again, " a superior told me right after I got out of the main office. I gave him a one cold look before completely walking away because it was so obvious that he is just mocking me. My heels are clacking as my feet step on the shiny clean marbled white tiles of the place. Looking so confident while walking. Napailing nalang ako nang mareyalisa ang suot ko ngayon. I looked like a cold badass action star in an all black suit and a red deadly yet expensive looking high heels. I smirked at the thought.

There is no one as I walked past through the all white tunnel-like hallway however when I managed to reach the main hall people are scattered everywhere. Some are busy with papers on their push carts and some are talking seriously while holding a few folders on their hands, many are just walking and minding their own businesses. Almost everyone are in their suits too pero may iilan na naka-casual attire lang.

Each people that my eyes will lay on are producing little noises that contributes to the blare of buzzing just like how a bee sounds like. Nakakarindi... Nakakairita... But I cannot do anything about it, lalo na sa posisyon ko ngayon.

" Flamma! Flamma! " I heard a loud voice, squealing and slightly panicking pero nang makita niya ako na walang emosyong nakatitig sa kanya ay agad siyang ngumiti at lumapit sa akin. She handed me a brown folder with a red confidential stamp on it.

" This is all you need to know about the guy, thanks dear! " Her remarks before winking and then turning her back on me.

" I did not even accept the case! " Taas kilay ko siyang sininghalan nang malakas para marinig niya ako pero tawa lang ang naging sagot niya sa akin.

" YOU HAVE NO CHOICE, MIA! "

" LOVELY, LLUVIA! " I responded sarcastically bago binuksan ang folder na bigay niya. I sighed at the sight of it.

Oh well then, another chapter is about to begin. I just hope this will be the last. The liar's notebook, unfolding...
