⚠️Trigger Warnings:
Abuse, $u!c!dal Thoughts, Blood⚠️Hydra Base
Steve lifted up his ragged shirt to examine the places where James had hurt him. His body was decorated with purple bruises, the fresh ones mostly located around his stomach and chest. He felt like a punching bag. He breathed out, his breathing finally becoming clearer as he rubbed his neck leaning his head against the old cell wall. He hoped the time would slow down. He hoped his father wouldn't come down. He glanced around wondering, again, why he was the only one in this particular cell space. There were so many cells but only he was locked in one. The rest were empty, and also looked much nicer then his. Like they had purposely given him the worst one.
It was like his father had been ecstatic to find out that there were two cell rooms and had said to his agents 'Save this whole space for my experiment'. Because that's all he was to his father. An experiment. He was pulled out of his thoughts at the sound of footsteps approaching, his ears perking up like a cat. He'd lived in this cell long enough to know how many footsteps would lead them to his cell so he just counted in his head. Waiting. For what was to come.
Whatever it was he tried to act like he was ready. Not make a sound. But internally he knew the 'no pain' act wasn't going to be able to last as long as he needed it too. This was his father after all. He would push past any limits to prove something. He would hurt him so bad and make him scream so that he was satisfied. He kept him alive for a reason. So he could hurt him over and over.
He'd bring him to the point where death almost took him and then just as death reaches out with its black hand to take him away, to free him from his psychotic father he'll have his agents fix him back up again like he was some kind of toy. It was a cycle. When his father was busy dealing with other things he'd just have to deal with one of the agents until they have had enough of not hearing him scream and decided to call down the boss. Like just now.
God he wanted this to stop. He wanted death to grab him and steal him away. He turned his head towards the cell door as he heard the footsteps surrounding him. Trapping him again. For another torture session. Another experiment. He felt like crying out for help but who would hear him. His fathers deep chuckling made a shiver run down his spine.

Tony yawned rubbing his eyes. His body was tired but his brain wasn't. At least that's what he was telling himself. He'd finally finished fixing his suit and was looking for more things to help locate the base. He was getting really close but then it would log him out. Like they knew he was looking for them. Jarvis spoke up, a hint of worry in his robotic voice. "Sir... You've been awake for around 36 hour-". Tony heard his lab door opening and muttered "Mute...". Obviously trying to hide the fact he hasn't slept from the person who'd come in but it was Bruce and he already knew he needed sleep. It was why he was down there in the first place.
Bruce walked over to him and mumbled "Tony... I really think you should-" Tony shook his head and rolled his eyes. "I know what you're going to say and I really really think I shouldn't... I'm trying to locate the base". Bruce hummed understanding. " I know but if you don't sleep we won't be able to take you to the base when you finally locate it". Tony crossed his arms. "No sleep for me". Bruce rolled his eyes this time. "Fine but at least come up for a bit. The team misses you". Tony groaned. "Finnneeeeee". He stood up and followed Bruce out.
Hydra Base
Steve glanced up at his father's face and breathed in slowly. Trying to calm himself. He knew what was going to happen. Where he was going to go.
His father, Icarus. He was tall, about six foot and he had blonde hair. Steve had got that gene from him. But he had his mothers blue eyes. The mother his father had so horribly lurred into this life. He'd told her she needed to have a child. The plan was to have a child and use it as an experiment. He was probably so happy when it was male. Made things better for him. Icarus murdered his own family. He lurred Sarah into his life, had Steve with her and then killed her aswell. Steve has never seen his mother. And probably never would. He hated his father. Despised him. But what could he do. He was just some skinny dude that was tortured every day.
Icarus gestured for James to open the cell door, which he did with a wide smirk on his face. Because of course he was going to love every second of this. The rusty metal door made a creak as it was opened and Steve watched helplessly as his father inched closer to him. "Hi Steven... I hear you're not screaming enough these days... I think I can help with that". Steve winced and just looked up at his face, fear behind the emotionless look in his eyes.
His father, without any warning; because why would there be a warning, punched Steve in the face. His head was forced to one side from the mere impact of the punch and he surprised even himself when he managed not to make a sound. His father grabbed onto his blonde hair, which didn't look very blonde at the moment, and made him look at him. Steve felt blood leak down his stinging cheek as he stared into his dark eyes. Wishing that one day he'd get what he deserved. "Did that not hurt? Huh? You bastard do you want me to make you cry out? Okay then I fucking will". The words made Steve shiver and he clenched his fist. He knew it was going to be worse this time. He could feel it.
