*Norah POV*
-August 15th-

I have never been more excited for a holiday more in my entire life.
I boarded the plane with Matty and Charlotte to Sydney.
"I'm glad I've brought enough to keep me occupied for 24 hours", Matty grinned, holding up 3 books.
"You're such a geek", Charlotte scoffed and plugged in her headphones.
"Leave him be", I laughed and plugged in my headphones as well.
For the entire 24 hours- I slept for 1 hour, read for 3 hours, watched films for 5 hours and worried about going to Australia for the rest.
Luke and his family were meeting us from the airport, which didn't seem appropriate considering how I felt. Matty never bonded with Luke as much as he bonded with Calum and Ashton. I couldn't be arsed worrying, so I thought I would just watch shitty films until we landed.

......

We arrived in Sydney, and by God, it was incredible. It was so warm considering it was technically winter for Australians. Luke and his dad met us at the airport.
"Hi Norah, Charlotte, and Matty is it?", Luke's dad questioned.
"Yes, thanks for meeting us here", Matty grinned.
"Not a problem", Luke took my bag and wheeled it outside the airport so that we could talk properly.
Both of Luke's brothers were away, so Luke's parents offered us their bedrooms, so we could come to Australia without paying for accommodation.
"It's so nice to meet you!", I smiled and hugged Mr Andy Hemmings.
"You too Nor", he was a bit taken aback from my sudden hug, but he laughed.
"Right, time to go home", Luke linked arms with me and sat next to me in the car.
I was so excited to see him, and meet all of his family, and I could tell he was as well.

Luke's house was in Sydney's suburbs. Even though he had his own flat in the city, he wanted everyone to stay with his family, at least for the first few days that we were here.
"Home sweet home", Luke unlocked the door and took my bag upstairs.
His house was all on one floor, and it was huge. I wandered through the hallway and into the kitchen, entranced by this strange Australian house. It reminded me of staying in a villa when I go to Florida.
"This house is gorgeous", Charlotte smiled and followed me into the room.
"Welcome to the Hemmings' house", Mrs Liz Hemmings smiled and hugged us both, "so which one is Charlotte and which one is Norah?"
"I'm Norah", I grinned.
"It's so nice to meet you both", she smiled and hugged Charlotte as well.
"Are we having a barbecue mum?", Luke asked, entering the room with Matty.
"Of course, we need to show what a real barbecue is to these English people", she laughed, and greeted Matty.
I thanked Luke for taking my bag up and asked him which room we were in, and he led me into the room.
"Thanks Luke, I need to have a really quick nap after that flight, and get changed", I sat on his brothers bed.
"I understand, jet lags are a bitch", he smiled, "dinner will be ready in about an hour. Calum is coming in a bit so I doubt Charlotte will want to take a nap".
"Aw good I'm excited to see him", I smiled and unpacked some clothes.
"I'll see you in a bit then", he lingered in the doorway for a while and finally said, "I'm glad you're here"
"I am as well Luke", I stood up so I was close to him. I raised my eyebrow and smirked at him. He stared back, looking down and smiling at me.
This moment was abruptly stopped by Matty shouting up the stairs, "Norah, Calum's here and-", and he suddenly stopped walking and stood in disgust looking at me.
"Tell him I'm going to sleep for a while", I said, still looking at Luke, then turned to smile at Matty, and shut the door in both of their faces.
To see them stand side by side made me feel shit, but I had to brush all of that under the rug...it wasn't worth ruining a holiday yet.
