*Norah POV*
-14th July, 5:10pm-

My train home wasn't until late, so me and Charlotte stayed in the house chatting with the boys, after they came in from their interview.
"Interviewers always like to mention the 'snapchat incident'", Calum rolled his eyes. I started to laugh but I was really trying to cover how funny I found that. Ashton was giggling loudly when he realised I was bright red, shaking and crying.
"What is so funny?!", Calum jokingly snapped.
"It was 2 years ago, and it's still funny as fuck. Everyone has seen your dick!", I laughed
"Oh well, I'll get over it", he laughed.
Time flew by, and we were all chatting for hours, about shit all, but it meant a lot in that moment. I was sat next to Luke on the sofa and my feet were curled up next to him. His arm was around the back of the sofa and he used the other to hold my feet- he knew I loved this. I loved people holding my feet, not just for warmth, but I felt protected. As soon as he grabbed my feet he glanced at me, then returned to the conversation. His hands were huge as well, so he could hold both with one hand. I smiled at him without the others realising. Suddenly, I couldn't hear what anyone was saying, their lips were moving but nothing was coming out.
I shook my head, I had to stop thinking of Luke in that way- it's wrong! He's my friend, I have a boyfriend, and Michael was in the room.
My phone started to ring- it was Matty.
"Hello?", I answered quickly and loudly, running out into the hallway.
"Norah?", he laughed, "are you okay?"
"Yes fine...are you?", I stuttered.
"Yeah, but I really feel like you're not 'fine'", he said
"No it's just...I was falling asleep and you made me jump", I lied.
"It's only half 5", he questioned me.
"I know...I'm still a bit hungover aren't I?", I snapped slightly, as if it was his fault.
"Oh okay...I was just calling to see what time your train is?", he asked
"8 o'clock", I said bluntly.
"Are you angry with me? I thought we made up?!", he snapped.
I don't know why I was so angry with Matt, so I couldn't think of a response. "what's the point of me asking? It always ends up my fault no matter what", he hung up the phone in anger.
I felt so guilty, he hadn't actually done anything wrong...I wasn't busy I was just sat with Luke and he interrupted my daydream about him.
I sauntered back into the room, and everyone went quiet.
"Was that Matty?", Ashton asked
"Yep", I widened my eyes and sat back where I was, trying to sit exactly where I was before.
"You sounded annoyed", Michael said
"...I don't know", I sighed, "he's just Matty isn't he?"
"He's a cool guy. Please work everything out", Ashton told me.
"I like the guy", Michael nodded
"...oh well, doesn't matter- what were we talking about? Oh yeah, I have a thing for beards on certain guys", I panicked and smiled.
"Oh yeah...Simon Neil from Biffy Clyro is hot", Michael said

...........

"So good to see you again", Calum hugged me, "Charlotte will be staying with us, don't worry about her"
"Cheers Cal, I'll see you when we go to Lower Than Atlantis", I grinned.
I hated leaving the boys. Ashton always gave great hugs, and I always missed him. I was really close with him and we always giggled about everything.
"Take care Norah", Michael embraced me and stroked my back.
"You too Michael", I smiled, "see you soon"
I turned to see Luke grinning with his arms open. I just laughed and ran into his arms.
"Whatever you decide, make sure you're happy. Matty is a good guy, and so is Michael and I....just be happy Nor", he said
"...thanks?", I laughed slightly, "I missed you when you were in LA"
"I know, but we are in England for a while now, until we go to Australia", he smiled.
"Shit, we are coming aren't we?", I gasped, remembering I was going to Australia, "I'm excited!"
"You'll get to meet everyone, like our families, our friends", he said, "they will love you"
"Can you come to Cheshire before we go so the lads can meet our families?", I looked up at him, "I'm surprised I haven't organised this before, my family meets everyone"
"Yes! That will be so good", he grinned, "now go get on your train, Matty's waiting"
"Yeah...okay bye Luke", I gave him one last hug, "bye everyone!", I waved and boarded the train.

I hated this. I hated being confused and not knowing what I want.
Hopefully some time in Birmingham will make things better. Once I get back into the swing of things, maybe I wouldn't be so confused?
It could work.
