Alexa had managed to make it back to her room before Mason has walked in, no questioned asked, jo eyebrows raised, and for once there was no look in his eye for disappointment. "Hey, you coming to play?" Mason questioned, as Alexa smiled at him nodding her head before she let her tangled hair follow her hand guiding into a messy bun. "You look a lil tired though" Mason mumbled, as the siblings walked down the hallway. "It can be tiring being somewhere you don't know" Alexa whispered, as Mason nodded his head. "I know what you're saying, but you shouldn't be that tired being in your room all day, you know we're a sociable bunch right" Mason chuckled, as she headed Dec and Phil shouting over the game of basketball, as she rolled her eyes. "I know, but maybe in the one who isn't sociable" Alexa whispered, as her eyes met the brown ones she hadn't long been staring into, as he pounded into her on his bed, that she was adamant he wanted to break. "Then you need to make friends with Jack, but I don't know if I want him around you, he can be a bad influence" Mason mumbled with a smile, but only if he knew that Alexa had made some relationship with Jack already, god he would kill then both.

"Lex, hey" Ben smiled, as he wrapped an arm around the younger girl, pulling her into him as she was met with the smell of his cologne, which Alexa found comforting, she had always had a soft spot for the left back, but she knew that if Mason had ever of known she had a crush on him growing up, she wouldn't of ever loved it down.
"Hey Chilly" Alexa smiled, as Ben smiled down at her. "Thought we had drove you away, how you feeling?" Ben whispered, as the two of them walked over to the smoothie bar, but she could still feel Masons eyes following her, or so she thought it was Masons eyes.
But the question on how she was feeling took her off guard. Everyone else was pussyfooting around the topic on why she was here, some hadn't even asked, but Ben, it was obvious he knew, he was close with Ben, but closest with Declan, but that didn't mean he didn't share information with his boyhood club team mate.

"I'm not sure how I'm feeling if I'm being honest" Alexa whispered, as Bens eyes softened. "You're in the best place" Ben whispered, as he rested a hand on the lower side of her back, the butterflies erupting in her stomach. "I know Ben, but I honestly feel like I'm here because no one else wanted me" Alexa whispered, as she sipped on the smoothie that Ben had made her, her stomach slowly growling for more, as Ben smiled at her. "They'll always be a place for you at mine" Ben smiled, as Alexa felt the warm giddy feeling take over her, surely she still didn't have a crush on him.

"Yo, Ben make me one mate" The brummy accent called, as he took a place next to Alexa, his own cologne engulfing her nostrils. "Jack, you've met Lex ain't you?" Ben smiled, as Alexa turned to face the male she knew better than most did in this room. "Err, yeah we spoke briefly yesterday" Jack smirked, as Ben passed him the smoothie. "Yeah, I'm sure you and Jack would get on, you've both got a very fine line of a sense of humour" Ben laughed, as Jack nodded his head. "I'm sure if she wants to come to the morning workouts with a couple of us she will feel welcome" Jack smirked, before he left Ben and Alexa standing where he was moments ago, but not before he sent her a wink in her direction, before he sat next to Mason, Declan and Phil, Alexa's heart stopping in her chest briefly.

She knew she had, had her needs met with Jack twice in the last 24 hours, but she never thought how it would effect the work that the team were here for, let alone the friendships she could ruin just by being here. "Oh, I said to Southgate that I would show you around where you'll be working, wanna walk and talk?" Ben smiled at Alexa, and just like that, she was back in the spiral of fancying her brothers best friend, the smile that radiated a room, the laugh that would make anyone smile, and the eyes she could spend hours getting lost in, and that's the moment she knew she was fucked. She knew she had to stop whatever was going on here and concentrate on getting better, but the other part of her felt 'what's the problem with breaking a few hearts along the way too'

"Lex, you okay?" Ben smiled, as Alexa pulled herself from the daydream she was in, smiling and nodding at him. "We will get you mended" Ben smiled. "It won't be long till you're back on the pitch tackling me" Ben laughed, as Alexa froze at the mention of her playing football. "I won't play football Ben" Alexa whispered, as he nodded his head sighing. "I know, I know, but what's happened has happened, it's time to move on" Ben whispered, as his hand rested on her waist, standing in front of her, his blue eyes staring at her, a small smile on his lips. "I care about you Lex, I don't see you as my best friends sister, in a way you're one of my best friends too" Ben smiled, but all Alexa could do was look into his eyes, the trees in the foyer surrounding them, the faint laughs and shouts of the others in the common room coming faintly down the hallway. "Friends" Alexa whispered with a smile on her face, as Ben nodded his head, but his facial expression read something else, as Alexa moved her face closer to his, years of her being a teenager coming into her mind.
Just do it.
And that's when Alexa placed her lips onto Bens, her eyes closed, the same as his, as a cough made them pull apart.

That damn Birmingham male.
