"I'm just going to ring Mum" Alexa mumbled, as she tried to explain to Mason where she was going before he had a meltdown about where his sister, who he was supposed to be watching was going, even though he was more interested in playing Declan on Fifa, against some of the players who were literally down the hallway.
Alexa stepped out of the room and into the hallway, that smelt as clean as it did when she walked in earlier on in the day. Alexa was unsure how many times a day St George's was cleaned, but she felt like she would find out eventually how many times a day everywhere was cleaned, it reminded her a little of a hospital, the smell of bleach, the clean flooring that was always clean, despite the floor being walked all over in muddy boots and trainers, to Alexa it just reminded her of a brand new hotel, untouched, unlived in, but she knew the hallways of St George's held so many memories, not just to the players that were here now, but to the players who were here years before, and players that would be here in years to come.
Alexa tried to remember the way out to the front of the drive, not realising how big St George's was in fact, until she had stepped foot into the hallway, and had to find her way out by herself. "Where you going?" The thick brummie accent caught her off guard slightly, making her jump, the jumper that was wrapped around her body moving quicker than she did, as her body collided with Jack's him chuckling was the only thing she remembered. "Where ya going then?" Jack chuckled, as Alexa mumbled something under her breath and Jack raised an eyebrow at her. "Do you speak English or only insults?" Jack questioned with a smirk, as Alexa rolled her eyes at him, pushing past the taller male and walking towards the sign that read exit. "It's rude to ignore people yano" Jack mumbled, as he followed the shorter girl, much to her annoyance. "Don't follow me, it's weird" Alexa mumbled, as she pushed through the front doors to the exit, leaning against the railing, taking a deep breath in as the cold air brushed against her body. "I'm not following you" Jack mumbled with a smirk, as he leant against the railing next to Alexa, who was rolling her eyes at him. "Well, you literally just barged into me, started speaking a foreign language and then followed me outside, that's a low key stalker" Alexa mumbled, as Jack looked at her with a raised eyebrow. "Foreign language?" Jack mumbled as a question, and Alexa smirked at him. "Yeah, no one can understand you" Alexa stated, her accent was a typical English accent, it was almost considered posh to Jack's Birmingham accent. "I'm from England love" Jack whispered, as Alexa looked to her left to look at Jack briefly, not realising how close he had got, and she swore if she turned her head fully that her lips would be inches away from Jack's.
"How close do you want to get?" Alexa whispered, as Jack chuckled to himself. "It's a free country" Jack whispered back, as he shuffled along the railing, closing the metre gap between them. "You're weird" Alexa mumbled, as she felt her phone buzz in her pocket, assuming it was Mason asking where she was since she knew he probably wasn't listening when she said she was going outside to ring their Mum. "You're fit" Jack mumbled, as his hand brushed her waist, and Alexa looked down at his hand that rested on the railing, but had briefly touched her side. "You did not just say that" Alexa mumbled, as she turned her body to look at the brown eye'd male who she had heard so much about. "I'm stating facts" Jack mumbled, with a small smile, as his eyes trailed down from her face down to her body and then back up again, slightly pulling his bottom lip in between his teeth. "You're literally what they say you are, arent you?" Alexa whispered, but as soon as she had said the words, she regretted it, looking down at the ground, but not before she looked into his eyes and seen whatever spark was there to begin with, slowly fade away. "What? that i'm a fuckboy, only thinks with his dick?" Jack mumbled, but his voice was cold, his tone was harsh, and Alexa knew at that moment in time, that even if he w as a fuckboy, she didn't think she would ever see that side of him, she felt like her time here would allow her to see the real Jack Grealish.
"Nah, if you want to think of me as a fuckboy, feel free, don't let me change your mind" Jack mumbled, but he never took his eyes away from hers, holding on to their eye connection. "Why does it matter if i believe that anyway?" Alexa mumbled, as Jack shook his head, laughing slightly. "Because i didn't have you down as someone who would judge someone, not with the way Mason introduced you in the changing rooms" Jack mumbled, as Alexa looked back up into his eyes. "What do you mean?" Alexa mumbled, as Jack shook his head. "Told us all that you were here for some rehab, and to look after you" Jack whispered, as his hand brushed against Alexa's side again, this time sparking something inside of her. "Rehab, yeah, sounds about right" Alexa mumbled, as she looked down at the ground, Jack lifting her chin up with his finger, shaking his head. "I'll help you, if you help me" Jack whispered, as Alexa raised an eyebrow at him. "Why would i need your help exactly?" Alexa mumbled, as Jack smiled at her, still holding her face in his hands. "I'm the only sane one here" Jack smirked, as Alexa shook her head. "I know Dec, i'm sure i'll be fine" Alexa whispered. "When you get bored of being your brother's friend, you'll know where to find me" Jack whispered, as he placed his lips close to Alexa's cheek, watching her blush, before he let go of her face, and walked away, letting the cold air nip at her body once again.
