"Your kinda pretty yano" A voice mumbled, as they tried to run their hands through Alexa's hair, as she perched herself at bar somewhere in a village close to Burton, she thought she was still local but she wasn't that sure, and since her phone was dying she wasn't sure she would find out either, but she was adamant at that moment in time that she wasn't going back to the park, but she knew she needed to at some point, but she wasn't ready for the whole parenting speech from Mason, and Alexa's mind couldn't help but wonder back to how many people she would of pissed off in one day, Mason, Jack and Ben all being at the top of her list, and all of a sudden she was back in the sorry, self pity party that she had been in for almost three years, nothing good or positive staying good or positive. "Please leave me alone" Alexa mumbled, as she took the bottle of water she was drinking, and walked out into the street, despite it being late spring, it was already becoming dark, as Alexa looked over her phone, sighing at the messages.

Ricey🍚
You're groundedddd

Ricey🍚
Im Serious, his gonna kill you, run for the hills

Ricey🍚
but let me know where you are?

Alexa sighed to herself, as she opened the next message, instantly regretting it, knowing the as soon as it come up read on her behalf, he started typing all over again.

Mase⚽️
Where have you gone? you better come back

Mase⚽️
Okay, that last message was a bit mean, but where are you? why would you walk off from Benji?

Mase⚽️
Okay, i'm a dick again, please let me know you're okay?

Mase⚽️
Lex you're scaring me

Mase⚽️
Lex, please just let me know you're okay? i'm not mad, i promise.

Alexa continued to sighed to herself, scanning her phone contacts, wondering if anyone would actually make the commute from Portsmouth to Burton, which she thought was very unlikely since she had unfriended most of her previous friends for being a bad influence on her, or for just not really being a friend at all during her transition from hell to further into hell. But before she knew it she was dialling a number she didn't think she would, and was thankful when their voice spoke through the line.

"Lexa? Whatcha doing, where ya at?" Jack mumbled, as she heard a door close behind him, indicating he had left whatever room he was in to speak to her. "Do you think you could pick me up?" Alexa whispered, as she heard Jack sigh. "Where abouts are ya?" Jack mumbled, as she heard another door close behind him, before he hissed at the cold air that was obviously attacking him now he was outside, as she smiled to herself, she knew she was a little tipsy because she didn't feel the cold air, but she had stopped herself at a couple of drinks, she knew she was supposed to be getting better, but she knew she needed to take the edge off too. "Some place called the Robin Hood?" Alexa sighed, but questioned, as Jack laughed at her down the phone, and as much as she hated that he was laughing at her, and rolled her eyes, she couldn't help but smile. "I don't know where that is yano" Jack mumbled, as she heard the car door close, and his voice go louder. "But, if ya can give me a street name i should be able to satnav it" Jack mumbled, as Alexa looked around, trying to find anything with a name on it. "Jack, there's literally nothing, just the pubs name" Alexa mumbled, as Jack sighed to himself. "Ya had a drink then" Jack whispered, as he started the car up. "I found ya, i'll be fifteen minutes, do ya wanna stay on the phone?" Jack muttered, as Alexa opened her mouth to say something back, before her phone beeped indicating it had hung up and died in her hand, as she sighed to herself. "Great going Lex, fucked it up as usual aint you" She mumbled, as she sat on top of the post box outside the pub, wrapping Ben's jumper around her to try and keep warm, as she suddenly regretted staying so long at St Georges.

--

"There ya are" Jack smiled, as he wound down his window, smiling at Alexa, as he opened the door from the inside, Alexa climbing down from the post box and slipping into the car quickly, putting her seatbelt on, and letting the heaters of the car envelope her in warmth. "What happened?" Jack mumbled, as he pulled off, letting Alexa's gaze fall out of the window watching her surroundings pass her by. "Cat got ya tongue or sommat?" Jack mumbled, as Alexa shook her head. "Feel like I've disappointed everyone" Alexa mumbled. "I had a drink" She continued. "I stopped a three knowing everything was wrong" Alexa whispered. "But no one else gets my head, no one understands how I feel and as much as I try and talk, as much as I want to be what everyone wants me to be, I cant" Alexa muttered, and for once it was like the words were flowing out of her, for the first time in a long while. "Mase was supposed to take me today, but what was so important that he couldn't?" Alexa whispered, as she finally turned to look at Jack. "He had the morning cleared from training to take me, so what was so important that he couldn't?" Alexa whispered, on the verge of tears. "I don't know Lexi" Jack whispered, as he placed the hand that was on the gearstick onto her hand briefly, before he moved it again, knowing he shouldn't do it. "Because I'm just someone he has to pretend to care about right now" Alexa muttered as Jack shook his head. "You've got me Lexi" Jack whispered, and although Alexa hated being called Lexi, something Lewis always used to call her, a name she never had heard since, something felt bittersweet as it feel out of Jacks mouth, like it was almost meant to be.
But then Alexa remembered how broken she really was, and that St George's was just a pit stop for her, and she didn't want to drag him down with her, even if her heart did race a little more around him.
