Chapter 26: Healing Together

Jungkook's blood collection only took less than 15 minutes and after him, his mother, Jeon Yoon-ah, also came to the hospital to donate blood for her grandchild. If all tests go well, they would have enough blood for Luna to get better.

Jungkook went back to the waiting room and updated everyone of Taehyung and the babies' condition. Everyone was relieved and remained positive about Taehyung's operation. Since it will take around 3 to 4 hours, the maknae asked his hyungs and in-laws to go home first and rest. He insisted to stay just in case something comes up and Jimin opted to accompany him.

When everyone left, Jimin dragged Jungkook to a cafe at the hospital to get food and coffee, despite the latter not wanting to leave the waiting area.

"Jungkook you need to eat. You donated blood and you need to be strong enough for when my bestie wakes up. Not unless you want to collapse and stay unconscious by the time Tae awakes." Jimin said to a whining Jungkook.

"What if the doctors have an update and look for us?" Jungkook asked.

"I've already requested for one of the nurses to message me if something comes up. Now, put on your mask so that no one would recognize us." Jimin said.

When they got to the coffee shop, they went straight to the counter to order their food before looking for a table. As they went around, they were surprised to see two people they know, sitting beside each other looking all lovey dovey in the cafe.

They approached the table and Jimin cleared his throat.

"Well, well, look what we have here. Can we join you, my dear cousin?" Jimin said in a teasing tone.

Hyung-sik was surprised as he didn't recognize Jimin and Jungkook who both had face masks on.

"Jimin!" Sik exclaimed rather loudly.

"Not too loud, hyung! You're ruining our disguise." Jimin whisper yelled as he sat down across Hyung-Sik.

Jungkook, on the other hand, sat down across Sik's
companion.

"Hey, Ji-won, why didn't you go home with eomma?" Jungkook asked.

"Um, hi oppa. Well, I wanted to stay and wait for Taehyung oppa, so I asked Sik to wait with me." Ji-won said.

"Ooooh. No formalities, I see. Care to share what's going on with you two?" Jimin teased further.

"We're um, we're together." Sik said, his face turning red.

"Does Taehyung know?"Jungkook asked wide-eyed.

"No! I mean, not that we're hiding it from him, but I was planning to tell him after he gives birth cos you know how high-strung he was during the pregnancy." Ji-won nervously said.

"I can't wait to see his face when you tell him." Jimin said.

"What do you mean? He wouldn't get mad right? I mean, they weren't together. He never liked Sik that way." Ji-won said.

"Ouch. Rubbing it in much?" Hyung-sik said.

"Huh?! Why, are you still affected?" Ji-won snapped as she slightly moved away from Sik.

"Yeah, hyung are you?!" Jungkook retorted.

"No! I was just kidding. Gosh and I thought Taehyung was the only high-strung one." Sik and Jimin chuckled.

"I don't think Taehyung would make a big deal about you two being together. But, he will make a big fuss about you not telling him that something was brewing. You're supposed to be his bestfriend and you're his sister, so goodluck on that." Jimin said as he pointed at Sik and Ji-won respectively.
