She was so nervous for the wedding. Four weeks before it, she already had a dress and shoes. Her ticket to Miami, where the wedding would take place, was already in for two months.

She didn't know what to say to him, when she was there. She would congratulate him and tell him she was happy for him. She would tell him she was sorry.

The days flew away and a week before the wedding she thought about not going. Then she thought she couldn't do that. He was, after all, her best friend. Maybe not anymore. But for a very long time. And she thought she should support him in whatever he did, because he did the same for her.

May 25th. The wedding.
There was one thing she was looking forward to and that was seeing her old friends again. They had lost touch and she wanted to restore it.

Despite all her preparations she was late. Luckily she could just slip into the church and she took place on the last row. She waited about two minutes and then the bride and groom walked in.

Her breath caught in her throat. He looked so beautiful. All her feelings came over her and it was just too much.

When she was about to stand up and leave due her emotions, he noticed her.

She could see he was excited to see her. He looked at her carefully, taking in her face completely. He saw her face and his expression went from happy to concerned. It broke her heart and that was when she started crying. She quickly ran out of the church, hoping she wouldn't disturb the ceremony.

He felt sorry for his bride and then thought he didn't truly love her. So he ran after the girl he had always loved and always would love. He left his bride for her. She hoped she could ran away and he wouldn't come after her. She should've known better.

She stumbled and fell, but two strong arms caught her.

There it was again, the typical romantic movie moment.

He picked her up, wiped her tears away, took her in his arms and just gave her a long hug. At first, she struggled, but then she gave in and hugged him back.

Only nine words were said.

"I love you, David."

"I love you, too, Emily."
