They were told that she needed to stay a couple of days, just to be sure she was okay.

He wasn't happy with it, but only the safety of his wife mattered.

He brought Elijah to see his mom and they were so happy. Everything was okay again.

It was beautiful to see them reunite.
You could see the love flowing off of them in waves.

The days flew away and they could finally leave. David had left Elijah at home, so it would be a surprise for him to see his mom back.

They checked out and filled in the files they needed to.

When they were about the walk out of the hospital a group of armed men rushed in and started shooting.

Everywhere, there was chaos.
Screaming, crying, fighting.
Old people hitting the armed men with their walkingsticks.

Where nobody was calm, David acted quickly and smart. He pulled Emily with him behind a door. Just as they thought they were safe a man jumped from behind the closet. David picked up a fight and they hit eachother like there was no tomorrow. It looked like David had the winning shot, but suddenly the attacker pulled a knife out of his pocket.

David was stabbed three times. In his arm, shoulder and leg. He stumbled forward and tried to push the attacker back. It didn't work.

David still tried to protect Emily, but it was too late.

He took his gun and they got both a bullet straight through the heart.

"I've always loved you, Emily, and I will never stop." It was the last thing he would ever say.

"It is completely impossible for me to stop loving you, don't you worry about that." That was the last thing she said.

They died in some sort of peace.
