Chapter 61

The next few days were quite hectic with Nandini sorting out the dresses and working on the interiors of the studio with Nikhil and Aditya. They were looking for clients and promoting as well.

On the same side Manik was busy with completing the project with Ishaan while also making sure everything is good. The board meeting is in a month and he can't afford anything to mess up.

They met up a few times after office but it always ended up short. It was Saturday and Nandini decided going over to Manik's house to spend time with him.

She has cleared her schedule completely to be with him.

She rang the bell outside his house and he opened up with a smile on his face.

"Hi",He grinned letting her inside and shutting the door behind her.

"Hey.",Nandini said hugging him and gave him the coffee she got.

"Did you have breakfast?",Manik asked holding her hand as he walked her to the kitchen.

She shook her head and he smiled.

"Get seated. I will serve.",Manik said pulling a chair out for her.

She nodded and took a seat watching him flip the last batch of pancakes before serving everything in plates and putting it infront of her.

"Smells delicious.",Nandini said looking at it and he smirked.

"Tastes good too.",Manik said cutting a bite and forwarding it to her.

She tastes it and her eyes widen as she nodded smiling.

"What do you want to do today?",Nandini asked him as they ate their breakfast.

"Anything you want. Ishaan messaged he will be coming over around lunch to discuss something about the project but other than that I am completely free.",Manik said sipping the coffee she got.

" How is it going? ",Nandini asked curious to know about the project.

"It's okay. We had some problems with the designs. We have a presentation on Monday with Mr. Bhaskar for the final designs and confirmation. If it goes well Ishaan can take over and start with the work. I won't have much to do except help out when needed. ",Manik explained and Nandini nodded.

" Have you thought of a name yet?",Manik asked her and she shakes her head in No.

"Nikhil said he will mostly handle the business and investment as he have experience and knowledge about it. He wants me to be the head designer and design everything. Nikhil and Aditya will assist me with the designs and manage other designers we hire. While discussing the name they suggested mine but I am not okay with having my name when it's the effort of all of us.",Nandini told him and Manik nodded thinking about it.

" Well they aren't wrong. You will be the head designer so it makes sense to have your name as the label. But if you aren't comfortable we will brainstorm some other fancy names.",Manik said as Nandini took their plates to the sink and washed them.

" What about everything else? Got some good staffs and clients? ",Manik asked her walking close to her.

" Nikhil is looking over with the clients and Aditya is hiring the staffs. I am working on the designs and getting it done. Cabir said I can exhibit my collection in his hotel so I am preparing for the same alongside.",Nandini told him and he nod.

" Seems good. If you want any help.. ",Manik said wrapping his arms around her and Nandini smiled turning to him.

" I will ask you I know. ",Nandini completes and he smiled at her answer.
