"D you've realized that you're the only one who hasn't exchanged gifts of your own. Did you end up forgetting them again?" Q said while raising her eyebrows.

D transports the gifts into the game as A and F look at the supposed ability with awe.

"Wow. If only if I could do that. Who knows I might even change the world if that ever happens!" F said enthusiastically which at last finally lightens D up and giggles along with her.

However the short lived lightheartedness aspects come to an end when D receives a voicemail from Luna Orion.

D ends up pulling away from the game and goes over to a quiet spot near the kitchen as E and Q sighed irritably as time keeps getting wasted.

"D keeps hiding shit and I'm not standing for it," E said while being nudged by N.

"You're not entitled for him to disclose that with you in a group setting. He decides that when he's really ready got it?" N said while being visibly annoyed.

D listens attentively to the voicemail while trying his best to stay visibly calm.

Voicemail: "You're really that worthless Daniel. I had really high hopes for you to be that defining example that the universe needs and you blew it. Letting you're brother get away? Is that how you repay the world like that? Hopefully the holidays would really make you realize that it's important to act quick and promptly. I hope you have a good happy fucking holidays even if you don't deserve it after all what went down," said by Luna.

D bursts into tears as he gradually disappears with his invisibility power as R attempts to reach him as he overheard the voicemail but ends up losing him.

"My god, poor D. I should of been there for him when he really needed it," R feels a lot of shame and guilt even as a part of him is still upset with the outcomes of their battle.

"We'll be there for you when it's most crucial for your sake," R said while slightly tearing up.

R noted of D's teleportation even as he was invisible for a while but took a while to realize of D actually being gone from the scene of the party.

"Dude where the fuck did he go?" Q asks R demanding an answer.

"He disappeared out of sight. I don't know where he went," R said while looking really worried on the behalf of his mental health.

"Well aren't you two in the same team? You would know what really went down but obviously you think you're doing a lovely job by not disclosing anything but it's hurting you all in the end," Q states it bluntly as R looks very annoyed at her.

"Don't be so pushy onto us like that! We all sacrificed ourselves into the frontlines just to keep you all alive and well. He's not fucking fine!" R goes on a rant while crying hysterically, making Q even more confused and lost as he unknowingly admits to D not being okay.

"What's going on now?" N said as he shows up behind the two alongside with their fellow friends and all other guests who were invited.

"Haven't you guys heard? We were all devastated from our last battle. Quite the nightmare if you say!" R stated while being so overwhelmed simultaneously.

"I knew something was up. We really should talk this out. Who knows what else this could lead to. None of us would want him to deteriorate any further right?" N directs his stance onto others as they unanimously agreed.

Message updates keep popping up on R's private messages regarding their turbulent friend. D sends a aesthetically stunning photo of a waterfront with a sunset background.

D: The sight of a beautiful sunset is really fascinating. Makes you think of all the wonders of our world.

R: ikr it's very beautiful. I could become a flying unicorn up there someday!

D: you know. Thanks for being there for me and tell N that I'll always have him on my mind.

R: wait what?

D: you all made the world less shitty and worth it being surrounded by you all as I try to understand the underlying mechanisms of the world itself. But my time is come...

R: WAIT D YOU CAN'T BE SERIOUS. PLEASE....don't go 😢

R's heart races more than ever as he runs over to his friends while they were close to preparing the kitchen table for dinner.

"Guys we really need to talk to D! He's going to do something he'll regret if we don't step in!" R said very rapidly as the others try to calm him down. However this made N very intense about it.

"This isn't good at all. Guys we should come together and make him reconsider," N stated firmly while the others follow his lead and agreed.

R sets up the miniature teleportation device as he can't do it on his own unlike D. They all teleported to the waterfront and with E and N restraining D from jumping onto the river.

"We won't make this your last Christmas honey. You're here to stay with us. You're worth a lot more than anyone who dares to degrade you and you're so strong that we would hope for you to reconsider. I love you and many of us do so as well," N said as he held onto D tightly.

"I guess you're right. Maybe I wasn't thinking straight. I should of talked it out with you all," D admits his faults as his friends try to hug him making him overwhelmed but accepting of the affection.

They all nod and signal for him to come back. As they returned, they finally open their actual gifts.

D opens up to a new journal given by N. Then they all laughed and continue on with the holiday spirit. Christmas songs spamming across Q's playlist as D, E and N have their usual banter of topics of interest. The night closed off more peacefully more than they all imagined.
