Party Woes

Guests started arriving in droves while Q checks off her list of guests that were invited.

"Hey what happened to D and N? I bet N is dragging D off his bed. Gotta love couch potatoes like that guy," Q said while being slightly irritated.

"Aww I know he'll come. I would think he wouldn't want to disappoint you dear," B said while trying to lighten up Q.

"I don't always get that guy. He could of given a heads up if he truly wants to come but didn't. The fact that N is probably walking with him to the party says a lot about that guy," Q's head lowered while trying to hide her disappointment.

"I'm sure he can explain once he comes by. I believe in him and you probably should too," B attempts to bring more positivity to Q once again.

"Maybe you're right. He's a smart guy but he should really work on communicating more directly," Q said with a slight smile and then becomes more expressive as she greets other guests arriving inside.

Half an hour later, at last D and N arrive as they all notice A, B, E, F and Q chilling all together.

"Well what are you two lovebirds waiting for? Come on over?" Q said enthusiastically.

"The OGs are finally here yay!" F states it cheerfully while escorting them to their white elephant exchange game.

"Well well look who finally decided to showed up," E said jokingly while mostly referring to D rather than N.

"E you don't have to be so rude like that," A tries to have him be more sensitive to others but failed.

"Amy...I wasn't even trying to be a fucking dickhead...you know what...never mind," E facepalms at A's comment and makes her disregard it as she pouts her mouth.

"Please stop! This is supposed to be a satisfying game for everyone...not for any of you to act like children," B addresses A and E to calm down. E immediately surrenders while looking visibly irritated since he knows B has a point.

They all proceed to exchange gifts as F reveals hers to E which the latter expressed in disgust when he finds out of it.

"You love to humiliate yourself that much do you?" E covers his nose from the intense stench from a smelly eggnog gift with his eyes becoming watery as F laughs in amusement as unknowingly to her, E ends up snatching her present away with F trying to get it back.

"Bruh you greedy fuck stop it," F said as she's still dying in laughter.

D ends up being nudged on several times by E whom the latter attempts to drag him back from his blank state.

"Hello? Earth to weirdo? Hey! I'm talkin' to you," E ends up placing the gift onto D's lap in a impatient manner which then brought him back to being conscious again.

"You're okay D? You've been acting weird again," E expresses his concern even though to most it's not very noticeable.

The rest turn to D with his anxiety increasing as they all kept staring at him.

"I'm alright. Just been going through quite a lot lately," D states it reluctantly as the rest keep a close eye on him.

"Guys! I wouldn't put too much pressure onto him right now if I were you. Just consider that as a warning," N voices out his stance while remaining neutral.
