I was ready to go home I was sleepy asf especially after all the shit I had to do last night dealing with India.
I actually need to tell her about everything that happened last night thinking about it made me wanna go home even more to see her reaction I know she's going to be dramatic, I thought to myself chucking out loud.
"I'll see y'all tomorrow have a good night babies " one of our interns said.
"Bye mommy" I said waving at her from behind the front desk.
As she was walking out India was walking in. I know she be missing me but this was different.
"Um what are you doing here? I already had lunch if that's what you were bringing me sleepy head" I said laughing standing up from the chair.
I looked closer and saw that her nose was red.
"Aye you good? What's wrong" I said looking at her.
"Take them glasses off" I said pointing at them.
I heard the automatic doors slide open seeing a boy come through the door limping.
"You, go sit in the waiting area." I said to India while frowning my eyebrows confused asf.
"Nurse Stacy, to the front please. with a wheelchair got a limping patient " I said paging a nurse to come and assist.
"Na I got it I can walk." He said with a straight face.
"It's protocol until we know what's wrong with you, so just sit and enjoy the ride." I said with a nurturing voice.
Stacy came with the wheelchair.
"Do you think you need me?" I said whispering in her ear.
"No, it's fine I'll get Angel to help,you get her." she said nodding towards India.
"Okay" I stated then sped walked to the waiting area.
