As Finsley and Ewan try to get back to Clyde, they kept hearing strange noises but continued to ignore them.

Just realizing how far it actually was to reach Finsley, Ewan began to become more anxious. He's always known to be like that.

Finsley on the other hand, did not worry since she had Ewan as her company. Hand in hand they walked together to find the piano room.

Ewan is beginning to get more and more worried as time went by, not reaching anywhere familiar so far.

"Finsley, why'd you run off so far away? Now it's kinda hard to find Clyde." Ewan beginning to get frustrated.

"I-I'm sorry. I d-didn't mean to." Finsley said in a whisper.

"Sigh, it's fine I guess. Let's just hope we reach there soon."

Finsley only nodded. She was feeling very guilty for making Ewan worry and making them lost.

After what seemed like forever, they finally found the piano room, but Clyde was nowhere to be seen.

Now Ewan is freaking out thinking something happened to him. Seeing that all of his belongings are still where they were, he began to panic.

Finsley also felt concerned for her friend even though he wasn't the nicest to her.

Ewan was hyperventilating while Finsley tried to call him down.

"Oh my god oh my god oh my god, where the hell is Clyde?! All of his stuff is here but not him! What if something happened to him?!" Ewan panicking.

"C-calm down, he's p-probably somewhere just e-exploring." Finsley trying to calm down Ewan.

"Okay okay, uhm, maybe he's just in a different room, yeah hahaha." Ewan calming down a bit.

They decided to look for him after taking a small rest.

They were afraid they wouldn't find him before dark because that's not a good time to be exploring a haunted house.

As they were leaving the piano room, Finsley caught on on something.

"H-hey Ewan, check this out."

"Hm?"

Finsley pointed to some footprints of what seemed to be Clyde's shoes. Since the house is very dusty, it left a very clear mark.

"Oh finally, some clues!" Ewan silently triumphed.

They began to follow the footprints, and it lead them to this very strange room that they haven't went in before.

It was just outside the piano room in some halls.

There the footprints stopped. Thinking this is the room where Clyde must've been in, they slowly opened the door to brace themselves.

But, nothing.

Disappointed and even more worried, Ewan began to have a slight panic attack.

Grabbing Findley by the arm, he dashed through the halls in search of his friend.

As he was running, dust kept getting in his eyes and making him have a coughing fit but that didn't stop him.

Ewan ran and ran and ran, but he couldn't find Clyde.

Tears began to swell in his eyes as he prepared for the worst.

Out of breath and very tired, Ewan stopped in an unknown place in the manor.

Finsley had tried to call Ewan down but nothing worked. He only felt like crying.

Maybe, coming here was a bad idea. But they were naive, immature teens so who could blame them really. If only they didn't have so much courage.

Silently sobbing, Ewan covered his face in embarrassment as he had to cry in front of Finsley. He felt more and more guilty for leaving Clyde alone.

As he was crying, he could hear faint laughter echoing through the halls and wherever he was. It drove him crazy and terrible thoughts filled his head as he was slowly losing his mind.

Voices, terrible voices, travelling through his head with harsh words. Ewan could feel it taking over his mind and just as he was about to lose it, he heard something.

"..wan, Ewan, EWAN!!"

Suddenly, the voices stopped. His eyes were now dry and he could see clearly.

His thoughts were empty and he couldn't hear any sort of sound besides Finsley yelling at him.

Finsley, worried as hell, hugged Ewan once she noticed how this whole thing impacted him.

"F-Finsley?"

"I w-was so worried about y-you Ewan!" Finsley yelled.

"Wh-what happened?" Ewan asked confused.

"I-I heard you talking to yourself and w-when I looked for you, you were running with some girl, w-who was she?"

That's when it hit him.

It wasn't Finsley.

"W-wwait what? But, I thought me and you were looking for Clyde.." Ewan stumped by this.

"What do you mean? H-he's literally been here all this time."

Trying to process all this, Ewan slowly freaked out more and more. Who was he running around the house with? Why didn't he see Clyde who was already with him? What the hell happened?
