She took her headphones down and looked at me frightened "I-I....can I help you?" She asked slightly embarrassed. I chuckled and look at her with dark eyes

When I went back downstairs I told Alison that her daughter will be there in 5 minutes. She thanked me and went back to chat with her husband and my parents

"don't worry dude, just asking" I raised my hands in surrender while he nodded again
"Where did you live before you came here?" I asked, just for us to not sit here in silence
"we moved from Florida without no reason tho" Jake chuckled and I laughed
