I hate the first days of school. Do you want to know why? Well... I don't even know, I just don't like them at all
I and Jake pulled up in the parking lot in front of our new school. New school, new friends, new enemies. I said to myself and got out of the car with Jake right behind me
As we walked to the principal office I saw almost every guy looking at me. Do I have something on my face? Weird...
When we got our schedules and numbers of our new lockers, we separated our ways, Jake has physics and I have English. Nothing against English tho, it's just boring as fuck
I sat on the seat in the back next to the window and looked out. It's sunny today maybe I could go to the beach or for a little run...
I was interrupted from my daydream by a voice beside me. I turned my head and found Tom standing next to me "this is my seat" he said and crossed his hands over his chest. I raised my eyebrow
"Well not anymore," I said rudely. What the fuck is wrong with me?
"Sorry, what did you say?" He leaned closer his face a few inches from mine I noticed some people staring at us
"I said, not anymore" I answered clearly, looking into his eyes
"whatever, princess" he smirked and sat right next to me. I rolled my eyes and looked out of the window again
What is wrong with me? It's really weird, every time I talk to a hot boy, I just stutter and am nervous, but now? Wow, I'm proud of myself. I imaginary patted myself on the back
After five hours I had lunch. Finally. I'm starving.
As I was walking to the cafeteria I noticed some people staring at me again. What is wrong with them? I'm this close to asking what is up with them
I went to the line and looked for a sign of Jake meanwhile. Nope, nothing. I awkwardly went through the cafeteria to an empty table but some voice interrupt me
"Hey, pretty girl! Come sit with us" some voice said. I turned and saw a handsome boy smiling at me. I smiled back and made my way over to his table
I saw another four boys with him and one lonely girl. I smiled at her and she smiled back. Make new friends Sky you'll need them, I said to myself and sat next to a boy who called for me with the girl on the other side
"Hey, I'm Alex, this is Michael, Parker, Chase, Harry and this is Mabel Chase's sister," he said out of breath, and pointed out at everyone. I waved
"I-I'm Sky" I smiled, and they did as well
"It's nice to meet you Sky, you here alone?" Harry, I think, asked and I shook my head
"um no my brother's with me but I don't know where he is right now" I laughed nervously and they nodded
As they started their conversation, I looked at Mabel "hi" come on Sky you're better than that, I imaginary slapped myself
"hey" she answered nervously
"So, how long do you live here?" I asked and she smiled
"I live in Cali my whole life, you?" She asked
