I snickered.
I walked towards the Cafeteria. Yeah, medyo malayo layo nga. Pagkapasok ko, I was impressed of how gorgeous this place is. Glass walls ito at maluwag ang place. Flawless. Di ko kasi masyado pinansin ito kanina pagtour namin kasi wala akong pakialam. I went to the counter and nagorder. The school gave me a card, it kept track kung ano ang mga inorder mo. You don't have to pay but in order to get something, you have to present the card.
I ordered a slice of blueberry cheesecake, spaghetti and lemon juice. Habang hawak hawak ko ang tray ko ay naghanap muna ako ng mauupuan o vacant table.
Until may kumaladkad sa akin without an advance notice. The tray I was holding shook from the immediate invasion of force from my arms. "Hey let me go," I hissed. Napatingin siya sa akin.
"The more, the merrier." She smiled at hinila nanaman ako. We ended up to a table na may nakaupo na tatlong babae who were talking amongst themselves quietly.
Megan sat down. Pinaupo niya ako katabi niya. I put the tray on my table and made myself comfortable on the chair without giving the others so much of a glance.
"Guys, I want you to meet ---" naputol si Megan dahil may nagsalita.
"Jade, jade. We know. Jade Mendoza, our new roommate."
Agad naman ako napatingin sa nagsalita and did the heavens and the world crash in?
"You," I whispered.
My heart pounded, each beat heard by my own ears. My body froze in complete utter shock and I held my breath. I'm pretty sure my eyes were wide as flying saucers.
"I missed you." The other girl smiled.
Adrianna Kaye, Samantha Rhine and Chrizzelle, my best friends, the persons I haven't seen in so long are now in front of me.
And hell, yeah. The heavens and the world crashed in.
