11: the mikaelson ball

Evelyn stood at her closet as she fussed about on what to wear today. Looking through every piece of clothing she had, Evelyn gave up as she laid on her bed with just her morning gown on.

Her thoughts ran wild as they drifted to her husband. Every time he did something, something inside of her shifted making her want him in ways she could not fathom. She wanted him in ways she never wanted him before and that scared her. This was just a marriage of convenience and that will never change no matter if her feelings for her husband changes.

Lost in her thoughts, Evelyn was interrupted when Gen comes barging in her room wearing a crop top and matching pants as her face was adorned with makeup giving her a iridescent glow to her face. She gave a card to Evelyn as she spoke, "We are all invited to the Mikaelson ball. Someone is clearly eager for you to attend this" she gave a wink as she left the room to only to come back again brandishing a large box as she left closing the door behind her.

Evelyn looked at the card as she read it.

She turned the card around as she saw something scribbled on it.

Evelyn gave out a huff as she turned towards the box. Opening the box, it was revealed to be a dress inside as she took it out of its box to examine it. It was a beautiful blue mesh gown with thin sleeves and a intricate design at the front. It was a beautiful dress that her husband chose for her. Unfortunately she didn't want it.

Putting the dress back in the box, Evelyn got up from the bed as she made her way to her closet. Putting on a dark green crop top and pairing it with some dark jeans. She pulled up her jeans as she noticed her belly protruding out as she managed to button it. Grabbing her shoes and bag as she left her room with the box, Evelyn made her way to Caroline's house as she laid the box at her front door leaving a note from her.

Upon returning home, Evelyn saw the ladies of the house lounging on the sofa as she spoke out, "Ladies, we have a ball to attend tonight so let's go shopping!"

The girls turned to her as Tasia got up and spoke, "Aww, need a dress for someone special tonight?" Evelyn gave a chuckle as she ignored her words.

"Auntie clearly needs a dress if she's gonna get some dick" her oldest niece, Gen spoke as she examined her nails. A blush crept at Evelyn's face as she turned her face to hide it.

Marianna gave a look to her daughter as Cass gave a hearty laugh. Dressed in a beautiful, floral dress that hugged her large figure, her sister Cass stood up as she spoke, "Best not to dilly-dally then. Come on, let's go!" she dragged the rest of them out as they made their way out to shop.
