THE NIGHT WHERE EVERYTHING CHANGE

Night time came, Asami planned to sneak out of the orphanage without anyone noticing. She wore a black hoodie, which was Kakucho's and a black mask to cover up her face so nobody could recognise her.

Opening the room's window slowly and quietly, she hang one of her leg over trying to jump down. It wasn't high, she's currently at the second floor. So, she won't die if she fall.

A certain person was awake and watching Asami climb over the window in disbelief. 'What in the world... Is she doing??'

Asami stares down the ground and was about to jump off but someone grabbed the back of her collar and cover her mouth so she won't scream. She tries the pried of their grip but it was too strong. She guess it was Izana or Kakucho who caught her. 'Fuck! So much for sneaking out.'

She stops struggling and the person soon relax their grips once they were sure she won't retort back. They wordlessly pulled her arm and dragged her out of the room full of kids that were asleep.

Once they were out of the room and went into the library, which were dark and the only light presence was the moon that shine brightly through the big window.

'Shit, it's him. I don't have time for this.'

The person pulled her in front of them and stares blankly, without a word. One's was analysing and the other was avoiding their stares by staring at the ground like it was somehow very interesting to her.

"You won't die."

"H-huh??"

"You won't die from a mere second floor." They stated. Asami was processing the words they had spoken. "There's plenty ways to die, however I won't ever let that happen to you, Bunny."

She felt the familiar fluttering sensation hearing the person in front of her used that name.

"Izana..."

Does he think she's attempting suicide? Izana usual blank eyes was shown nothing but guilt and sadness and a hint of anger.

He reached out his hands and unhooked her mask, throwing it onto the ground then pushed the hood away from her head. Asami heart was pounding at the gentle action from him. Truth be told, she miss this gentle side of him over the ruthless King.

".... About what had... Happened a year ago..." He starts. She saw him frowning and looks like he was gathering his thoughts before speaking again. Asami knew what he was referring to so she said nothing and let him continue. "I'm sorry."

"Pfft!"

Izana froze at her sudden laughter. Was she making fun of him? He frowned at the thought.

"Iza-chan. You don't have to apologise, I've already forgive you." She genuinely smile at the boy. "Plus, there's no way I will ever be mad at you."
