Everyone has their own stories to tell, and their own secrets to keep. There will always be skeletons hiding inside every closets, and Veronica is no exemption to this.
People say they envy her - for she lives the life people are hoping to have. She was perfect, well that's what they've said. Having a perfect, happy and well-known family that adores her so much, gets to travel to different places, has a lot of friends, always excels in her academic endeavors and stuffs like that that people usually don't have.
But little did everyone know, her life was nothing but a full mess. She's got a story that no one outside their family knew about. And she tends to keep it that way.
She doesn't care what people says about her behind her back, yes, but that doesn't mean she'll let them know about it.
And when Veronica decides she had enough of her fucked up life, wanting to escape so badly from her nightmare; she proceeds in packing up every stuff she could manage to bring, all the money she has, and every important things she's got. She then left her house. Veronica leaves her so-called perfect life; her family, friends, everyone. She left without looking back.
Wanting to move on and restart her life again, she decides to change her identity and then booked a flight. Not having a concrete plan aside from wanting to escape so badly, and not wanting her family to know her whereabouts, she skips from one place to another until she found herself setting foot outside the Philippines' Airport.
And right there and then, Veronica finally feels safe and at peace. Or at least, that's what she knows.
