I drove to my house and saw that my mom was still at work. I put my helmet on the island and placed the keys in the drawer. Max got his bag and sat down on the couch.

"So are you going to tell me what that was all about this morning?" I said while getting something to drink.

"You can't be mad alright. I was pretty mad at you for leaving and not telling me." He said while turning towards me.

"No promises." I said sitting down on the stool by the island.

"Emma and I dated for awhile." He whispered. I couldn't even tell if I heard him correctly. He couldn't have said that he went out with Emma. I knew he must've went out with a lot of girls since I've left, but I never thought he would've went out with her. He's attractive, smart and athletic so he was bound to go out with someone.

"I'm sorry, did you just say that you went out with Emma? I'm pretty sure I heard you wrong because you would never go out with her." I said standing up.

"Just remember that I was pretty mad that you left and you promised you wouldn't get mad."

"Emma, the girl that made my life a living hell for most of my life. The girl that dumped her lunch on my today. The girl that use to call me ugly and fat in school and made me cry myself to sleep. Emma that made all my friends turn against me till I had nobody except you. The girl that made me a laughing stock of the school! That Emma!" I shouted at him.

"Yea." He said looking towards the ground. He wouldn't even look at me.

"Get out!" I told him while pointing towards the door.

"I'm not happy about what I did alright. I never meant to hurt you." He said looking at me. He got up and went towards me.

"Get out! Do you know how much pain she's caused me?"I shouted at him.

I was getting my books out of my locker when I felt a hand on my back push me towards the ground.

"Opps, sorry." Emma said as she laughed.

I pushed up my glasses and tried to get my books. Emma stepped forward and pushed my books away with her foot.

"Why don't you move away so I don't have to see your ugly face again?" She said to me glaring at me. Everyone was watching and laughing at me.

"N-n-n-no" I stuttered. She took my glasses and threw them on the ground. Stomping her foot on them so they broke. I started to cry.

"Aww look everyone, the baby's crying." She said with a pout. No one stood up to her or to my defense, I was helpless.

"Le-le-leave me alone." I whispered.

"What did you say?" She asked me glaring down at me. She flipped her hair off her shoulder and smirked to her friends.

"Leave me alone." I told her as I tried to gather my books.

"Why don't you make me." She said pushing me back down to the ground.

"Oh that's right, you can't!" She said laughing. I tried to get up but she kicked me in the stomach. I fell to the ground in pain.

"Let's get to class." She said as she walked away laughing at my pain. Everyone scattered leaving me alone in the hallways. I cried at the humiliation I felt. Why was she so cruel to me.

"You don't think I know that! You don't think I remember those nights where I spent with you, trying to make you laugh so you wouldn't cry. Those countless mornings I spent with you, listening to you speak down about yourself! How about those weekends where all I had us do was watch movies and eat popcorn to try and cheer you up. I remember those days like
it was yesterday. After you left, she didn't bully anyone for awhile. Not that I saw. It was about a month after we had dated that I saw that she was still the same. She was insulting this freshman and that's when I broke up with her. It reminded me of what she did to you. So don't tell me that I don't know about the pain she's caused you because I was there! It killed me to know how much pain she caused you everyday and I couldn't do anything to stop it!" He shouted at me. We had fights in the past but it never got this bad. We never hurt each other this much before.

"When did you go out with her?" I asked him while crossing my arms unable to look at him.

"Junior year."

"That was LAST YEAR!" I shouted. I couldn't believe him.

"Yea, I didn't think I would ever see you again. I never spoke to you after you left." He said with sadness in his eyes.

"And who's fault was that?" I asked him. We all knew whose fault that was and it wasn't mine.

"Mine." He said looking back at the ground.

"Get. Out."I told him gritting my teeth.

"Come on Danielle-" he said reaching towards me.

"Don't touch me!" I shouted backing away. I stumbled over my chair, falling backward.

"Danielle -" he said reaching towards me as I fell. My head hit the ground with a thud. My vision started to go dark and all I heard was Max repeatedly saying my name over and over again.

Sorry it's such a short chapter, I just wanted to catch up writing. This was probably the most fun chapter for me to write so far. Do you think Danielle overreacted? Don't forget to comment and vote. Thanks
