Volume 1 Chapter 7: The Runaway's In Therapy?

Author's POV

It was the next day, a Saturday. Y/N Winchester has passed his initiation and is now enrolled in Beacon Academy. It was exciting, it was a big win. So why is the Runaway feeling so down all of the sudden. He left Junior's Bar to fly over to Amethyst's grave thanks to his wings he call, Icarus. He was wearing his netherite armor as well as his Golden Crow. He made a few changes, taking out the roller wheels. Now he can just walk and run instead of rolling around. Y/N sighed to himself as he sat down in front of her grave.

"Hey... didn't expect to see me that quick huh?" He said slightly giggling.

"Um... I passed my initiation! I help Winter Schnee and Qrow Branwen with handling this group called the Nameless Whisperers. It was tough but Y/N Winchester is victorious once again!" He said slightly smiling.

As he was talking, A raven appeared not far from them. The raven was on a tree branch before she transformed into a woman. This woman is a leader to her bandit tribe, she was the Spring Maiden, she was Raven Branwen. And she was interested in the Runaway. She and her brother Qrow knew Amethyst and her family. She recalled the last time she met Amethyst, the dragon faunus was five. She assumed that Y/N and Amethyst were childhood friends, but why didn't she told her about the young man.

"So i really don't know what is the next step. I guess it is to visit Ozpin, he probably knows. But um, during my initiation..." Y/N paused before taking a deep breath and continuing.

"During my initation, me and Qrow were in a underground bunker. We were in a elevator and there were 14th floors. All of the floors were labeled except the bottom floor. We went there and it was a massacre. T-There were so many bodies just laying there lifeless. But I saw a dragon faunus girl, she looked like she was only five years old. I remember you told me that there wasn't that many of you left." Y/N said before checking on his scroll.

"Shit... I'm sorry but i have to go. Have to head back to Beacon Academy, i love you." Y/N said as he kisses the top of Amethyst's grave.

He turns around and gets a running start before he soars through the air with Icarus. He was flying at full speed and wasn't looking back. Although he should've look back as Raven stand at where Y/N once was. She looked at the Runaway who was flying away, then back at Amethyst's grave. She sighed to herself as she walks away, looking for answers

"Damn it Qrow... What did you do this time?" Raven said.

When Y/N arrived at Beacon Academy and was asked to head to Ozpin's office, he immediately asked for therapy. This kind of surprised Ozpin as he didn't expect those first words to come out of his mouth after he congratulate him. But Y/N explained to him that he's been feeling different after his initiation test and he has dealt with this mental illness before. He thought that he gotten over his depression but it appears to come back. So Ozpin granted his wish, he gave him a therapist. And he is currently in therapy session with the one and only Glynda Goodwitch.

"It is great to meet you Y/N. Before we get started on why you're actually here, i would like to ask you some quick questions." Glynda said which made Y/N smile and nod

"Okay, your weapons and equipments names are as follow. Icarus, Rapid Storm, and Golden Crow correct?" She asked, making me nod my head yes.

"Alright... i'm going to hand you a picture and i want you to answer if you know where this place is." Glynda said handing him the photo.

Y/N took the photo from her and looked at it. Glynda noted the boy biting his bottom lip. Y/N tried to compressed any noise coming out of his mouth, which he succeeded in. Y/N handed the photo back to Glynda Goodwitch.
