~Chapter 12~

I was falling non stop into a depth of darkness, it slowly engulfed me as I tried to reach out for the light that's out of my grasp. Soon, it became harder to breathe and difficult to see.

I jolted awake, the suffocated feeling around my neck makes my body shiver with cold sweat as I tried gasping for air. 'It's just a dream...'

I sat up on the bed with my palm clutching my chest to calm down my beating heart. After what seem like minutes, I walked towards the bathroom to wash off all the sweat lingering on my body

Besides the sound of water drops hitting the bathroom tiles, I noticed that the mansion was oddly silent. No sounds of talking, laughing, nor even footsteps echoing trough the hallway.

I didn't think much of it as I change into a black sweater with white skirt with chains on the side. They probably just went off somewhere

I got out of my room frantically searching around the mansion for any signs of the boys. I even went in Rindo's room to find him missing, which probably meant he's fully conscious already

The sound of my feet tapping the ground were the only thing I could here between the silence, until I went into the dining room to find nothing. I was about to step back to leave but my back had bumped into something

"Careful..." Both of his hands held my shoulders as I turn around to meet his tired eyes

"Mikey? Where are the others?" I asked curious as to why he's the only one here

"I assigned Kakucho, Mochi and Kokonoi to handle some issues at the hideout" He let go of my shoulders fixing the wrinkled part of my skirt

"I see...and the others?" I bring up my fingers to my chin waiting for his respon

"Takeomi and the Haitani's probably went out to the club. As for Sanzu...." He trailed off, eyes looking down as he fiddled with my fingers

"I have no idea" His dark pupil made it's way to mine

I nodded in understanding as he entwined both of our hands together.

"Let's go on a date" He said as he started walking to the direction of the front door, taking me with him

"Mhm sure, where?" I slid on my black stockings as Mikey just shrugged

I look at him confusingly, putting on my laced black knee high boots. We went out of the mansion as I was about to get the motorcycle out, but Mikey stopped me. He said nothing as he dragged me away to the streets, looking behind once in a while to check up on me

The weather outside is windy today, considering it'll snow in a few months. The wind brushed up against my skin, pass through my (h/c) locks making it flow freely with the winds direction

Mikey and I just strolled around the city without any certain destination, just letting our feet takes us where we feel like. We went sightseeing different parts of the city, trying out many foods we've never seen before, passing by street markets and sometimes just window shopping

I can sense the pure joy coming from him just from simple moments like these, even though the emotions wasn't displayed on his face but it was clear from his eyes when we often stare at each other along the way.

They were filled with affection and enjoyment behind those empty dark orb. What can I say? Eyes are the windows to our souls. I smiled as we both enjoyed each others company

Seeing the genuine smile on her face made my chest overwhelmed with the feeling of warmth I never felt like this in a long time.
