~Chapter 15~

~Mikey's P.O.V~

"Has anyone seen (Y/n)?" I ask everyone present in the main room, not meeting anyone's eyes. My sudden question made all their attention turn towards me

"Isn't she supposed to keep an eye on the club?" I look tiredly at Kokonoi who said it with a quizzical look.

"Yes, but...she's supposed to be done 3 hours ago, it's already midnight" I scratch my head, trying to figure out what she might be doing now

"She even finished sending the reports earlier" The silence suddenly turn into thick tension as everyone's face turn serious

"Tch, queen better not run off with some guy" I heard Sanzu's displeasure tone of voice as he pulled out his phone, dialing (Y/n).

"No...I know she wouldn't" Rindo said being sure of himself

"She's just not the type to leave what keeps her alive" Kokonoi added which is true since I have known her longer than all of them combined

After long minutes, Sanzu's hand slide inside his pocket putting back his phone. He gritted his teeth in anger as he fished out a bottle of pills from his other pocket.

"Not answering?" Ran ask while pulling out his own phone. The answer was clear coming from Sanzu's silence

"Maybe she just went off somewhere alone, you know...taking a breather" Kakucho doesn't seem to be worried, but hesitation lied in his words

"Sanzu...go to the club and look for her" Sanzu's psychotic grin broke out at my demand.

"And the hideout if you must" I said as he swallowed the drug before putting it back in his pocket

"As you wish, Mikey" He didn't waste a second as he immediately went out of the mansion, disappearing from our sight

The others watched as Sanzu left, closing the door behind him. Another silence engulfed the room as everyone exchange glances at each other. Presumably waiting for my orders.

"You all...try to find her somewhere you think she might be" I turn my head away, turning on my phone.

"Yes, right away" I heard Mochizuki spoke behind me, soon hearing the clashing of footsteps fade away leaving the silence behind.

'(Y/n)...if you're okay, come home soon. I miss you' My fingers hit send as I texted her, expecting a response but nothing came out.

Struggling is no used since I've been trying for hours now. I inhale heavily trying to catch my breath, imagining what were they planning to do with me.

Come to think of it, no one has come in since I woke up. The only sounds I hear were footsteps passing by this room outside.

Too tired to move nor could I make any sounds since my throat is not in good conditions, I decided to just stay still until someone comes in or to rescue me. The boys should already know by now that I have been missing for hours, considering me always being on time when getting home.

Just when I start having those thoughts, the metal door swung open. I squinted my eyes, feeling the bright light coming from outside the room blinded my eyes. The door closes again, taking out the lights.

Two pairs of male silhouette came closer as the sounds of their shoes tapping on the ground continuously grew louder. One of the male seems to be carrying something over his shoulder.

"Nice to see you again" He said as he towers over me. Although I was unable to recognize his face due to the darkness of this room but his voice sounds oddly familiar.

"You mess with the wrong organization, get ready to get a special treatment from us" The bloodlust rushed in my body with each words spit out.

"We got an offer for you" He ignored my sarcasm as the other guy equipped with a weapon went closer to me.

"But first...what is your name, queen of Bonten?" His voice fills with interest at the question. Refusing to answer, I only respond to him with silence

"Won't answer? Very well then. Hear my proposal to you" He leaned closer, taking a lock of my hair between his fingers

"Work for me, I'll treat you like how the Bonten guys treat you....like a queen" His voice just went from calm to deranged at the sentence he just spoke

"And maybe, even better than how they treated you" He spread out his arms like a madman as his words echoed in the room

I stayed silent, my eyes twitch in annoyance. Now that his attitude showed clearly in front of me, I knew that it's him.

"What do you say, my queen?" He said impatiently waiting for my answer. The words "my queen" coming out of his mouth as he adress me made my body shiver in disgust

"You're that money addict leader, right? Do you honestly think I would work for you after what you did to me?" I spat in his face, laughing at his proposal like it's some sort of joke.

I could sense the evil grin forming on his face under the darkness. He took a step back, letting the other male walk towards me.

"What a shame...you could've bring so much fortune to our business" He said in a disappointed but playful tone.

He lifted up the weapon in the air, which look similar to a shape of a baseball bat. I tightly shut my eyes as I looked down, gritting my teeth as I braced myself for the impact. The bat swing downwards, about to hit my head

"Wait..." The leader suddenly said out of nowhere. I look up to see the bat was inches from making contact with my head

I stare blankly at the leader who seems to be in thought due to no words spoken for seconds, just deadly silence

"Consider this to be a warning" He said confidently making the other male step back and lower his weapon

"What?" I ask not understanding what he meant nor what his intentions are

"We'll give you a few hours to reconsider my offer" He said firmly, turning around with his minion following behind

"What if they found me before I could answer" I questioned him. He stop abruptly in front of the door.

"Your little gang would never find you here, queen" He laugh ominously making my blood boil with anger. Is he underestimating my boys?!

"Your only answer is yes" He swiftly opens the door, stepping outside of the room

"And if I refuse?" My bored tone of voice seems to be amusing to him since I heard him chuckle over my question

"And if you refuse then.... you'll know soon enough" He looked back before closing the door, I caught a glimpse of his face before leaving. He had an insane expression though his voice is abnormally calm

I was left alone in the dark again as my body began brimming with cold sweat. The freezing air brushed up against every inch of my exposed skin

'This guy is just like Kokonoi, but worse' At this point, I didn't know that the moon is still hanging in the sky or is it daybreak already. Time feels slow in this dark and empty room
