Diluc x kaeya oneshotes

More than a dream

It is a normal day at Angel's Share tavern, Diluc is rarely behind the bar serving but this time it is one of those times, Charles could not do it today due to some personal problem, but even if Diluc is not seen in his face, he does not he disliked serving customers.

"Good morning gentlemen~"

Kaeya's cheerful greeting when entering the door makes him restless, "here again", Diluc does not like to see him come so regularly since he is aware of how bad it is for his health to get so drunk every day, it is not that he could kick him out because he is a paying customer after all.

At first, Diluc gets nervous thinking that it will be another long night being teased by Kaeya while he works, at least that was his normal behavior, but this time he watches him go by without even looking at him. Somehow he was grateful that he didn't have to see Kaeya getting more and more obscene as the night went on but he was also worried, Kaeya sat on one of the back tables stretching and sighing like he was terribly tired, "Long day?" He would tell him if he was right in front of him.

Diluc can't stay calm, he thinks about going to see how he's feeling but before he could make up his mind, he sees a man he doesn't even know approach him to talk to him and then sit next to him, the guy makes a gesture and a couple more people also join him. They come over to sit at the same table, they buy him drinks and he seems to act like he's not tired.

"...luc, Diluc."

"Eh?"

"Are you okey? You are distracted."

The honorary knight stares at Diluc with a concerned expression, the young man with blond hair does not usually pass by, especially because he is not allowed to drink alcohol, but Diluc is always pleased to see him.

"Yes, it's nothing, what are you doing here?"

"I came for a drink."

Diluc glares at him but before he could say his usual phrase, Aether interrupts him.

"I know, I'm kidding, I want an apple cider."

"I also!"

Paimon says with his usual vivacious tone.

"Good."

Aether notices how distracted Diluc is and turns to see who is watching and smiles when he realizes that he is worried about Kaeya.

Time passed with relative normality, Diluc glanced at Kaeya whenever he could, he was concerned about the type of people he was sitting with, he did not recognize them, perhaps they were merchants from other parts or perhaps contacts that he called. They look animated, it seems that they are inviting all the drinks.

Diluc sighs, "I suppose he will be fine" he thinks before continuing with his work, the next time he looks at where they are, he sees them all playing some kind of card game that he cannot recognize from where he is. Things get more lively when Kaeya takes off his jacket slowly, "Are they playing at taking off your clothes if you lose?" Diluc thinks, he is about to go stop them when he hears Aether speak to him.

"Isn't Kaeya very drunk?"

"So you think?"

Diluc turns around again, despite being seated, Kaeya was rocking gently as if he were on a boat, his face was totally flushed and he seemed to have a lost look, "did he get like that when he drank too much?" Diluc tries to remember a time when Kaeya had no control over himself while drunk but it never crosses his mind that he was, flushed, yes, dizzy, too, but never so lost.

One of those men places his hand on Kaeya's shoulder and draws him towards him, Kaeya stays close to the man and even strokes his arm as if checking his muscles.
