Here is kinda pt.2 but you don't really need to have read the first to understand this one

------------------------------------------------------------

Diluc had never felt so annoyed in his whole life.

Why did this have to happen to him of all people?

With a deep sigh he glared at Kaeya, who stood before him with a wide grin, eye full of mischief.

“I hate you.” Diluc grumbled.

“Now now, that’s no way to speak to me.” Kaeya chastised, smirking down at him.

“You used Albedo’s stupid potion on me and turned me into a child!” Diluc seethed, little hands balling into fists as he glared at Kaeya murderously. Kaeya melted, the redhead was just as cute as he had been when he was young.

“Wont you just allow me a little indulgence?” Kaeya cooed, leaning down towards the boy and gently squishing one of his cheeks. Diluc whined softly and swatted at his hand, pouting.

Kaeya knew he was being mean, but he couldn’t bother to care, using Diluc’s words against him when he’d been in a similar situation. He only wanted to show Diluc the same treatment, but he underestimated how adorable Diluc could be.

“I didn’t do this to you..” Diluc mumbled.

“Oh? If I recall I kept being picked up against my will.” Kaeya snickered, seeing the pretty way Diluc’s pale squishy cheeks flushed a nice shade of red.

“C’mon Diluc, it wont be that bad. You did it to me, and this time there’s an antidote to it! I had to wait.” Kaeya scoffed, looking at the boy matter-of-factly.

“I still hate you.” Diluc grumbled, marching off somewhere in the Winery.

“You don’t mean that.” Kaeya whined pitifully, following him with a wide smile on his lips.

He’d come back home later than normal, having managed to stop by the tavern to inform Diluc so he could go home without waiting. So when he’d arrived just in time for dinner he had offered to make some tea for them, slipping the potion into Diluc’s cup.

When the male had taken his first sip that’s when a brilliant yellow cloud surrounded him, hiding him from view. Once the dust settled that left Diluc sitting in his chair, eyes wide with shock and mouth slightly hung open, tea cup still help delicately in a much smaller hand than before.

Kaeya had laughed, unable to believe that actually worked, smiling wide as the realization started to sink in for Diluc. That’s when he’d cast those dark red eyes on the swordsman, glaring darkly at him.

“Why the hell would you even do this?” Diluc turned to glare at him sharply, the action causing Kaeya to come to an abrupt stop and his eye to widen at the sudden surprise.

“I already told you.” Kaeya shrugged, though he knew he hadn’t actually given the boy an answer.

“Kaeya.” Diluc growled, pyro energy starting to form in his little hands, flames licking at the fabric of his sleeves.

Kaeya blinked and quickly knelt down grabbing his hands in his own, ignoring the initial burn as he used his cryo to put the flames out.

How could he have forgotten? When Diluc had been younger his pyro powers were influenced by his emotions. This may have been a mistake after all..

“I-I..Kaeya..?” Diluc asked hesitantly, looking at him wide eyed, realizing what happened. The fear on his face made Kaeya’s chest ache, he didn’t want to see that expression on Diluc’s face ever again..
