Chapter 7: When Rejected

Ellie Sparx:

Jackson's crush, who has blonde hair and blue eyes. Is in eighth grade going to 'NiteSide HighSchool'. Is a very popular girl in her year as she catches the attention of boys and makes friends with a lot of girls. Listens to pop music and anything that is trending.

Ok first of all, you have NO idea on how delighted I am to announced that IT'S THE EASTER HOLIDAYS! Two weeks away from solitary confinement and already, I'm feeling kinda bored. Sure we have time of education but it's just the fact that I won't be able to see anyone within that time period. Samia, April and Alissa have all gone to France for a week. Yep a week, which means one week of loneliness and one week of boredom. Well I guess you could say it's not that boring, because, I'm going to a Taylor Swift concert! Finally, 1989 world tour, here we come. It's totally not weird that a boy likes TSwift by the way.

Now that school has ended, lets get into some gaming. I switched on the TV and diverted my way to the Xbox home screen. There I signed into my profile, sat back, and waited to enjoy 2 weeks of lifeless gaming. Before doing so, I off course had to check my facebook account to see if anyone had texted me. Predicting so, I had 3 messages from Danny. Not of which we're all positive.

'Hey Martin'

'Umm, I have to tell you something'

'I think, Violet is cheating on me'

Speechless, I took a while to reply. Was this another April fools prank? Surely not. Eventually I replied,

'Why do you think that?'

But because of such a long reply time, Danny was offline. Checking to see if I had any other notifications of some sort, I was invited into a chat party by Jackson. I joined the chat to be greeted by him yelling 'HI MARTIN' down his headset. 'Hi', I said back, getting ready to dive into some hardcore Call Of Duty and scrolling through my phone one last time.

"Whatd'ya wanna go on?" Said Jackson, in a tone that was too excited we were off for the holidays.

Remembering, I replied "I don't know, COD? Oh yeah by the way, IM GOING TO A TAYLOR SWIFT CONCERT NEXT WEEK AND I HAVE ANOTHER ADMIT 1 TICKET. Do you wanna come?"

"Erm, nah, I'm not really into Taylor Swift anymore. Plus we're boys, It's embarrasing"

With a face a rejection, I humbly said "But, what happened to being a Swiftie? And please, I don't wanna go alone.

"Sorry dude, I'm busy..."

I sighed, knowing he simply just didn't want to come. "Okay then, lets just play some team deathmatch".

Meanwhile, Danny was on urge of breaking up into tears. He sat in his bed on his phone as if he had lost everything in life. He began to text me his situation.

'Martin, I cba with life anymore. Violet's cheating on me with some other guy, and Kadie is starting to fall out with me. To think I was actualy planning on moving to NightSide'.

Later on that day, I took time to reply to him as I spent almost my whole day on Xbox.

'Are you ok? I don't get what u mean Violet's been cheating on you, and what's with the Kadie situation. I've not been my best either. Life just keeps going up and down.'

'I...I don't even know anymore. I'd prefer to not talk about it. But Kadie, we've just been having arguements on PSN and I don't think it's gonna turn out right.'

'Oh, I see what you mean, I guess it would be better if I just left you alone. I'll erm, talk to ya later.'

Closing my facebook messenger, I felt that it wasn't a time to question Danny. It might have tempered him more. I saw that I had sms messages from Samia. I opened them up to see,

'Hey Martin it's Samia, I'm with April and Alissa. We really wish you were here with us, it's hecka fun! Just wanted to know what you've been up to seeing you have probably been bored to death. Me and April are missing you and Alissa's just suprised that Ace is also on this trip. Those 2 don't have any credit and I'm running low, so I won't be able to reply back to you once we arrive back in America, but untill then we'll see your reply and hope to see you soon!'

Lost and rejected in life, that one message seemed to bring the slightest smile onto my face. Still I had nothing else to do but just, game, listen to music and go on social media. So without a choice, that was all I did for the rest of the day. I received the occasional '2 messages a day' from Jackson, saying,

'Just watched some movies, they was SICK. Oh yeah and Ellie was wondering if you and your girlfriend could meet up sometime with us.'

Umm, I kinda told Jackson I had a girlfriend, because at that time DANNY AND JACKSON MADE ME FEEL LEFT OUT. I don't know what to now. I guess just live life and hope for the best. I only can't wait untill Samia, April and Alissa are back.
