you woke up next to steve, his arm draped across your torso as the two of you cuddled. it was finally christmas, the best damn day of the year. you ran your fingers through his dirty blonde hair causing him to stir. he let out a content sigh, opening his eyes to look at you.
"merry christmas stevie," you whispered, placing a sweet kiss on his lips
"merry christmas doll," steves raspy morning voice peeked through as he spoke. goddamn you could get high on that voice, it never failed to make butterflies dance in your stomach.
"you wanna go open some gifts?" you questioned, moving your hand from his hair to his cheek and gently caressing it.
"can we wait a little? i just want to stay in bed with my bed girl and hold you," steve muffled into your neck as he hugged you tighter.

after falling back asleep together, you both collectively agreed it was time for presents. walking down the stairs hand in hand, of course decked out in matching pajama pants. the tree just felt more festive, even though there were only about six presents underneath.
you had gotten steve more of those tight t-shirts, simply for your pleasure, and his favorite cologne.
by no surprise, steve spoiled you. he got you new cookbooks, which was a favorite hobby of yours, tons and tons of face masks for the two of you to do together. your favorite gift by far was the stunning diamond necklace he got you.
"only the best for my best girl," he whispered while clasping it around your neck. he left a lingering kiss on your neck before moving to sit back next to you.
"thank you steve, merry christmas," you smiled softly, scooting onto his lap for a hug.
"merry christmas," he cooed wrapping his arms around you.
