I guess today is the big day. I guess this is it. I’m gonna miss this house. I’m gonna miss everything.
“You ready?” Mom asked.
“Yeah, I guess this is it.”
“You’re so dramatic. We’ll be back in a few days.”
“For what?”
“Court. Did you not read through your mail?”
I forgot I had court. Well, I didn’t really have court I just had to be there to testify. I kind of wish I was 17 again so I wouldn’t have to appear in court. I’m just not ready to talk about it.
“You sure you can do this Aaliyah?” Mom said.
“You called me Aaliyah.” I said with a small grin on my face. “I’m sure I can testify though.”
To be honest, I was terrified of this man. Although, he didn’t have a criminal background I knew how he could really get. I don’t even want to testify, but I’ll do anything just to put him and keep him behind bars
*A FEW HOURS LATER*
After finally arriving at our new crib, I unpacked all of my things. On our way over here, I noticed that there were barely any phone towers. Why would she move us to West BubbaFuck? We are literally in the middle of nowhere. I complained the 10 hour drive to the new house. Atleast, I had a decent size room and a balcony.
When I stepped on to the balcony all I seen was woods. How could we go from living in a urban city with lights, people, and corner stores to living in a city with a population of 100. Okaaaaaay, there might not be 100 people in this town but I know for sure that there isn’t more than 500 people here.
