This town isn’t as bad as it seems and looks actually. My mother had dragged me out to the supermarket to food shop with her. One thing that I hated was food shopping, but since there was others store around I didn’t mind. I think I needed a little shopping to get my mind off things and I could also start looking for a job since this plaza wasn’t too far from the house.
As soon as I walked in to Wet Seal, one of my favorite stores, I had seen Serenity. She was refolding the camisoles on the table in the front of the store. I had recognized Serenity from St. Louis. I had seen her around town but we never really spoke. I had heard she like to party too but I was wondering what she was doing in a boring town like this.
“Aren’t you AmourAaliyah_ from Instagram? She said.
“Um, yes. Don’t I know you from somewhere?”
“Yeah, St. Louis! I’m Serenity. What are you doing around here?”
“I needed a new start. Ya know? But it’s so boring around here. Is there anything to do? Parties? Kickbacks? Tellies?”
“Actually, tonight my friend is having a Telly/Kickback over at Mountain Inn a few minutes away from here. You interested?”
“Yes!”
Finally, there was something for me to do. Serenity and I had exchanged phone numbers and I had bought an outfit to wear for the night. Because I still had boy parts I had to watch what I wore. I wanted to buy a body suit but I got the mini skirt & matching crop top instead.
